Where are the ducks? Well, they were there, but they didn't want to be fed, apparently. So instead we fed the goldfish!
They would swim up and grab the bread off the surface of the water. Piper and Tyson loved it!
Atleast they still had fun, even if the ducks didn't like us!

Checkers
Today we showed our boys how to play checkers.
It took Tyson a minute to catch on, but once he did............
and with a little help from mom and dad, he kicked JD's butt!
Awwww, he's cute!

Menchies and Captain Jack
How is it possible that we haven't been to Menchies? We decided to make a stop there on our way to the movies. That place is awesome. They have cake batter Yogurt to die for! And the red velvet! Wow!!!
Don't know why she was giving me the stinky face, but she sure is cute!
We bought Tyson a yogurt and all he wanted to do was color. It's his new hobby!
We were lucky enough to get to spend the day with Josh! And no, he didn't get yogurt. He's an anti-sweet kinda guy. It's weird, I know!
After the yogurt we went to see Pirates of the Carribean, On Stranger Tide with Grandpa Scott. Awesome movie! Not my favorite of all the pirates, but I liked it. Johnny Depp is iconic as Jack Sparrow. My kids loved it!

Waterslides and Movies in the Park
Shelley has this awesome waterslide! My kids were in love!
I may have to invest, because it would provide hours of entertainment.
While the kids basked in the sun and warm water, Shelley and I lounged on the couch. We were techinically working for most of it, but time flies when your with friends and having fun. Makes the work go by faster anyway!
This awesome slide has 2 slides. A big one and a smaller one for Piper size!
Seriously? Do they make little girls cuter than this?
They do make little girl giggles that are pretty cute! These two are trouble! They were sitting on a foam chair that they kept making tip over.
Oopsey Daisy! Over they go!
Then you would hear the giggling! And they giggled for about an hour. The fun never seemed to be lost in this crazy activity!
My friend Amy, called and invited us to go to a movie in the park. We watched Despicable Me! It was a lot of fun! We got a pizza for dinner and had a picnic.
We even got fun ballons for free! What an awesome night!

Baby Bird
Today JD found a baby bird in our driveway. It was the highlight of the day!
In fact she may have even kissed it a time or two. Probably not the most sanitary thing to do, but well, the girl does what she wants to do!
The kids made it a hiding place in the tall grass besides our tree. They wanted to keep it safe from the neighborhood cats, which unfortunately there is a lot of! They even gave it a Dr. Pepper cap full of water so it would be able to get a drink or take a bath.
Cue the neighborhood kids. They all had to come and check it out. We argued over a name. I wanted Fred. Brooklyn wanted Ferdinand! Tyson wanted Harry Potter (ha, ha, ha). But we ended up naming the birdie Daphne. It's what all little birdies get named at our house.
Ahh, Tyson is to cute for words.
I had to include this picture. We laid on the grass today and watched the clouds go by once we got the birdie settled. It doesn't get any more real than this. Me and my make up free face and unwashed hair. Piper with chocolate on her face. Life is beautiful, even when it is an ordinary day!
Hopefully the little birdie flew away. He sure was trying! He was gone tonight when we got home from baseball games. I hope he found his way home!
