A Punchy Wedding Card

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Yesterday I ran my first ever Saturday Copic Card Class, which means for a change I get the whole of my Sunday to play.  Firstly this morning I headed off to the local cheap shop for a top up of some little bits.  I do just love dropping in there, I get Star my dog all her treats as well as some for myself :)

So going to post this and head up to my little Beach Hut and get creative.  Need to create the next card class piece for display in the shop and then the skies the limit for playing.

The base layer is a pink Co Ordinations as are the contrasts.
The rose bouquet paper is Kanban and available as single sheets
The image is a Marianne Design Image and totally adorable and lovely to colour.
The sentiment is My Sentiment Exactly.
The papers and image along with the copics are from Grimsby Crafts.

Here is a close up of the image

Masculinity Rules at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Today sees the next challenge at the

with the theme this week chosen by the very talented Wendy, who chose the theme of

A Man's Card

We are sponsored this week by the fabulous
who are offering a $10 voucher to the winner

So I created (okay, so I seem to do these a lot, but then I have a house full of fishermen and an extended family that also have this hobby) a fishing birthday card :) but don't forget to hop over to the main challenge site to see more masculinity....................

The base layer on this card and the contrast is a bright yellow.  The papers are from the Verde Papermania Capsule Collection.  Threads are fluff chucker resources from one of my many shopping trips at the fishing shows Matt goes too.  The little fish charm as always :) The sentiment on this one is a new set available at Grimsby Crafts by Wild Rose Studios called "Little Labels"

Here is a close up of the Lily of the Valley Image " Gone Fishing" coloured in Copics
As always, I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for the lovely and inspirational comments you leave, which allows me to hop on over in return to see your own lovely work.

Top Tip
To colour a large area with copics first wet the card with your colourless blender.  Also don't be afraid of using lots of tiny dots and lots of different shades of one colour in  your larger areas, it will blend beautifully, especially if you have wet your large area as well.
iCopic - Green
Love to Create - Birthday

hugs and enjoy the rest of your evening

So Sweet..........

Good evening to you all in the land of blog
Came home to a wonderfully cooked slow cooked meal tonight, was lovely steak and ale with full vegetables.  My son cooked this for me, although I had left out sirloin steak so was expecting chips, onion rings and peas...................... but was still gorgeous either way.  He is such a sweetie, though we would like something warming after all the rain :)

Anyway here is a little something I created over the long weekend.  Just had to try another new WRS image and papers and sentiment from Grimsby Crafts :)  my Easter box from Matt.

The base layer is a pale lilac, the papers are Bella Papers from Wild Rose Studio, the image is Wrapped with Love by Wild Rose Studio and the sentiment is Little Labels by Wild Rose Studio.  The MS double heart punch with some Papermania ribbon and matching bow along with some stash flowers edged in TH Mulled Lavender and some Hobby House Pearls finish it off.  I have cut the image outside the die cut so that the ribbon floats and paper pieced the present.

The image "Wrapped with Love" is coloured in copics using the RV and V colours for a change and think it made them so warm with those lovely hot pinks for the ears and R colours for the tag.
As always, I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for the lovely and inspirational comments you leave, which allows me to hop on over in return to see your own lovely work.

Perfectly Less Is More

Good evening to you all in the land of blog
Today I get to show you something a little different, took me about a full day to come up with this and if you know me well and my style then you will also know how hard this was for me.

For those of you who do know me well, please close your mouths, or pick yourselves up from the floor.  Now and again I just like to shock  you all :)

Today my OTT went out of the window and I made a LIM card

So I will shut up and let you take a look to see what you think

I used some gorgeous card bought from the Hobby House.  I then used three of my TH distress inks all different shades of green.  I added a computer generated sentiment and the image stamp is from My Sentiments Exactly.

So here you are

The image stamp actually states lots of different pair types so here is a close up so you can spot your favourite
A not very much used stamp but a very clever one.

I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for the lovely and inspirational comments you leave, which allows me to hop on over in return to see your own lovely work.

I would like to remind you all that my 800 follower candy is now running and can be entered here

Wild Rose Studio Baby Boy Card

Hiya to all in the land of blog
and
Happy Easter To You All

Today I am showing you a baby boy card for one of my neighbours who has just given birth to a new gorgeous bundle

I just had to use my Wild Rose Studio "Bella Sleeping" image and it was nice to use the blues this time and I think it worked just perfectly.

So here is what I created

The base layer is a pale blue card from the Hobby House with the little darker blue pearls from there too.  The papers are the new blue stack from Papermania another mono collection and so perfect, and gorgeous papers, these came from Grimsby Crafts as did the image, the lovely heart die cut and the butterflies.  The heart is a Memory Box die and the butterflies are by Cheery Lyn.  The ribbon and bow are also Papermania.  The flowers from my stash and the sentiment is also by the Wild Rose Studio and from Grimsby Crafts.

Here is the close up
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't wake him (well he is on a blue card for a little boy, sorry Bella)

When the Red Red Robin went a bob bob bobbing along

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
and
Happy Easter Long Weekend and if you are not going away - a long crafting weekend may be on the plans as the weather does not look that good on the forecast, however they are not always right so fingers crossed.
Today sees the next challenge at the

with the theme this week being hosted by little old me :), the theme is

Robin Redbreast

We are sponsored this challenge by the fabulous

who are offering the winner a gift voucher of £10

So here is what I created for my design team inspirational piece but don't forget to hop on over to the main challenge site to see the rest of the design teams gorgeous creations.
I only have one robin image and he always comes out for these sorts of challenges, but I do love him.  The base layer on this card and the contrast is a deep green.  The papers are so old I am not sure which stack they originally came from.  The nestie die holds the sentiment and the spray of holly is from a table centre piece that I cut up.  It was a sale bargain I have to say.

Here is a close up of the little robin coloured in copics

Wild Rose Studio Fancy Baby Girl Card

Hi to you all in the land of blog

I was asked for another baby girl card featuring the gorgeous "Bella Sleeping" so with no objection at all here is what I created.  I was asked to use my normal flair, which is normally OTT but think that it turned out quite well :)

I adore colouring this Wild Rose Studio image it is just so cute

Here is the full creation
The base layer is a pale grey which compliments the papers which are available at Grimsby Crafts and are the ones in my current candy.  They are by Kanban and called "Cream Soda".  I have used the cherish hearts border by Memory Box and also the Serafina Heart by Memory Box, along with some pretty lace some flowers and some Hobby House tiny pearls now if you look at the small pink pearls these are small, but the smaller ones are on the die cuts and these are white and even smaller, so cute.

Here are the usual close ups
Hope you can see the even smaller pearls.

and the image
coloured in copics, with warm and cool greys.
As always I must say thank you to all my wonderful followers and visitors who leave such kind and inspirational comments, which allow me to hop over and visit you in return

Birthday Wishes

Hiya to all of you in the land of blog
After my recent long weekend play, this is one of the cards, that I got to play with.  Love colouring these images and got to play with my new Cheery Lynn little butterflies too.

The base layer is a cornflower blue card from the Hobby House, the Papers are from the Bloomsbury Collection and so very pretty.  I used a grand nestie oval and matching scallop for the image plate.  Some cheesecloth for a floaty feel to the creation.  A Wild Rose sentiment die cut and lots of Wild Orchid Crafts little flowers all air brushed with RV93 as was the image plate.  The butterflies have been given liquid pearls pink bodies and the little pearls around the image plate are from a new colour theme at the Hobby House.

Here are some close ups
The Wild Rose Studio sentiment die cut and airbrushed
The floral spray
and this is the inner sentiment from Personal Impressions
I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave me such inspirational and kind comments, and this then allows me to hop on over and visit you in return.
