Lavender and Lace

The theme over at Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge this week is Lavender and Lace.

So here we have Summer Tilda with a bow standing amongst the lavender. I watercoloured Tilda in lilacs and greens, and mounted her on foam pads to add depth. The bunches of lavender were made using a lavender sprig stamp I have - I just stamped it several times to make bunches. The lavender background is embossed. The lace is from stash.

My SBS sister Nic has set a challenge using a photgraph . She says "I challenge each of you to create a card or papercrafting project using colors inspired from this picture". So I am using this ATC for the challenge.

Tilda and friends challenge - bits and pieces

I thought I would have a go at this challenge as I haven't made an ATC for ages. As I have been 'helping' Ellie make her Grandad's birthday card I have my paper scraps tray out today so the challenge seemed to fit in with tidying up!!
I have used strips of Papermania's Floral Retro papers and some K&Co paper. None is wider than 2.5 cms - honest!! I have watercoloured Dala Tilda in yellow and turquoise, and added the compulsory pink socks (Ellie is obsessed with pink!!) I tried to be clever and make it look as if she is sitting above a bed of flowers - not sure it worked!! I have used 3 die cut mulberry flowers with gems at their centre to finish the ATC off.
Hope you like it,

1st ATCs

Not the best pic ever - but these are the 1st three ATCs I have ever made - thanks to Jaqui, Ella Bella and Samantha.

I can't believe how hard they were to make - there is no space to put all the little fiddly bits! The challenge now is to find smaller images - yes I am going to make more.

Quilling- fromVicky - I took it off a topper that I was unhappy with - not Vicky's quilling, just

what I did with it!! It looks better on this.
