Ivy & Aster

I am completely head over heels for the new bridal line Ivy & Aster (like heart-palpitating, gorgeousness overload kind of head over heels) and any brides or bridesmaids still in search of the perfect dress are in luck because Ivy & Aster is arriving in stores this very week. Not only that, but there are several pop-up trunk shows through March. The first one is coming up this weekend in Los Angeles. I only have one request...will someone please, pretty please rock one of these gorgeous dresses down the aisle and send me the pics. I need to do some vicarious living.

Western Chic

I am by no means a country girl and I am not a fan of country music but there is something about bridesmaids in cowboy boots that I absolutely adore.

Pretty, Pretty Dress...You will be mine

I have been coveting Sarah Seven creations from afar for quite awhile and now I FINALLY have an excuse to buy one. My best friend has given all of her bridesmaids creative control over the dress picking {Sooo love her for that}. The only stipulation is that it be a lovely shade of grey. That, Sarah can do so now I must choose. Oh decisions, decisions.

Love Birds

With Sarah Seven bridesmaid dresses and vintage birdcage lighting, this wedding in Sayulita quickly flew to the top of my favorite list.

Heart all a flutter

Is this what 2010 has in store for bridesmaids? I really hope so.

I knew I loved Joanie

Mad Men is one of my most favorite indulgences and the real life wedding of actress Christina Hendricks did not disappoint. Her vintage clad bridal party is making me swoon.

Tracy Reese...I want to Marry You

{Image via Perfect Bound}

How cute would these be as bridesmaid dresses? I'll take the yellow and blue shoes too, thank you. Oh to live in New York and get to go to amazing sample sales. If you do, you should go to Tracy Reese.

Merry, Berry Bridesmaids

So I have been mulling over the whole mismatched bridesmaid look originally talked about here. Since we already have the bridesmaid dresses, I am thinking different shoes will be the way to go. I love this image of all the different colored shoes so I am using this as inspiration mixed with this bedroom as color inspiration:

Soooooo...I present my version of all things berry. I think it would be super fantastic to have all the bridesmaids wear a different color berry shoe. *Please ignore the super ghetto plum sash I photoshopped in. you get the idea.

Then, maybe I can wear these shoes and everything will be splendid:

and bouquets like this might be kind of pretty. Ok, I think I'm berried out.

Non-Matching is the new Black

{First image via Green Wedding Shoes, all others via With this Ring}

I love this look but unfortunately I didn't discover this till well after the buying of the bridesmaid dresses. It is modern and slightly adorable and a great way for each bridesmaid to reflect her own personality. If I had one do over thus far, this would be it.

These are the bridesmaid dresses from Anthropology. We are going to change out the sash  and now I am thinking to add a bit of flair maybe each girl will cary a different color bouquet. I will try to satisfy my non-matching bridesmaid qualm with that. Oh wedding blogs...why do you torture me so?
