The Haircut!

So today I finally had had enough. Caitlynn has never been one to battle me on doing her hair she lovvves to have "pretty" hair. But lately she chews on it and makes it all gross. She is also into not liking to comb it most of the time she is ok looking like an orphaned homeless child. So today yes I cut her hair. I think Aaron was more nervous than I. Ok well that first cut I was even second guessing my decision. But it got easier as I went a long. So it turned out super cute I am very happy with the result and might I add it is much easier to comb through. So it all worked out and Cait is also very happy with her new do! I should tell you also that while browsing through the internet to find some cute childrens cuts.. the one she picked to have was bright pink! yikes I think I am going to be in trouble when she is a teenager.

Caitlynn's first dance recital!

So in Sept I enrolled Caitlynn in dance at a cute little studio here in Saratoga. She has really enjoyed in. After fighting her all the time to go to gymnastic's and her telling me that she wanted to be a ballerina. I finally gave in. Believe me since I am a gymnast (err used to be) it was really hard for me to give in and let her take dance.. I then remembered a moment when I was young that I too wanted to give dancing a try. Well lets just say that it didn't last long.. shall we say I am not so graceful.. ever. Oh well such is life.. back to Caitlynn. She was really excited and the family even all came and watched her perform. She had a choice between red or white leo and tuttu.. I really wanted her to choose red but alas my stubborn stronged head child ( I wonder where she gets that from) choose white. ( She was also the only one that choose white.. the rest of those sweet little girls were all in red) She did look good though. She tried her hardest bless her heart and these pics are some of my favorites.

Christmas photo's

I know that I have blogged about picture taking before yet no matter how many times it smacks me in the face I just keep going back for more. Aaron has started to give me a bad time about how emotional I become about family picture taking. I am not sure why I do I just want so badly to have us all look good that when it doesn't go right I get all worked up about it. Anyhow, here is a prime example of why family pictures are difficult yet they turn out ok.

Thanksgiving!

Ok I know I am going to back track quite a bit here.. but I guess as they say better late than never. These past few months have flown right by me. Mostly I guess because having two active children and a baby keeps me really busy. Thanksgiving we kept on the down low this year. A few days after turkey day we had my brother Colin's mission farwell party and farwell talk. My Grandma came up for it and we all had a good time. I even got her to let me color her hair :)
