Big waves

They surely have a big waves at Monterey Bay! This photo taken last September when we went to Monterey Bay for a two days trip. We drove to 17 miles drive and the view is really spectacular! Really love the ocean and as you can see at this photo, there are some people surfing. It was kind a breezy that time, I am sure the water is cold.

Monterey Bay is surely have a nice breath taking view. The marina is so pretty as well as the weather. I took those photos while Dustin, Mike, Dana and mom are watching those boats. It was really pretty out there! We are heading to Monterey Bay Aquarium and will ride a trolly I guess.

Walking on the shore...

I miss the ocean a lot and I am very happy when we went to San Francisco with my family. We got a chance to walk on the shore. I like the first photo when Mike, Dana and Dustin walk together. I was walking alone and I love the soft powdery sand. It was pretty  nice out there! We're walking towards fisherman's warf, we will see those old ships out there and go to Pier39 after to see the sea lions and seals :-)

I missed going on vacation. Last year we never get a chance to go on vacation because we don't have enough budget to go for a trip. The last time we go on a trip as a family was last 2007, Dustin was 19 months old that time. This year we really need to save some money so that we can go for vacation. If we can't go back to the Philippines to visit my family, we will probably go to Michigan or plan something else. It's nice to go for a trip if you have enough money to spend. Some of my friends already planned their vacation this year. I am not sure where they will spend their vacation but I am sure they will have great time.

Breckenridge lodging deals

Last September 2009, my mother-in-law visit us here in Grand Junction. She’s from Michigan, she stay for two weeks with us. We really had a great time! We went to Breckenridge downtown to walk around, eat lunch and do shopping. I really like that place, Mike always took me their once or twice a month when we still live in Silverthorne. I have a great OB-Gyne Doctor in Frisco. Mom bought a souvenir in one of the store in downtown, I forgot the name. All I can say, Breckenridge is one of my favorite place! I love to stay their for a week.

Since it was a year ago since our last visit in Breckenridge, I am looking forward to come back their again. I am sure my husband would love to visit Breckenridge again.
