Simoan Fisher holds a fish skeleton. The aftermath of some eating frenzy I suppose. They say he likes to keep the little dead things with him. Hence the strong odor of decomposition he reeks of. Other than this minor neurotic condition he is quite sweet. He is an original stuffed muslin ornament by Folk Art by Penny. You can find out more about Simoan on MY ETSY

Ms. Hattie Spellman
SOLD- Thank you Katie in California!
"Hattie Spellman"
She is one of those "Spellman sisters". They are known about town as quite the old cronies. Hattie has a huge crush on the Man in the Moon. He was less than enchanted so she actually plucked him right out of the sky and forced him to take her to the Halloween Ball. Hattie's constant companions Thadeus Toad and Sylvia the spider are also attending the Ball.
This is an original one of a kind Witch gourd created by me Penny Grotz Streit. Hattie is painted in colors of burnt orange, vintage white and soft black. Her hat is decorated with sunflowers, cobwebs and a spider. She has pumpkins or jack o lanterns surrounding her body with a toad painted on one. I did add some clay to the bottom of the gourd so she would stand upright and stable. Hattie measures 9 " tall and 4 " across. She was given a faux vintage or antique look with an umber wash. She has been artist signed and dated by me with a 1/1 indicating he is a one of a kind and will not be recreated. She has been coated with polyurethane for lasting years of beauty.
If your interested in purchasing Hattie or maybe you would like to look at more pictures of her you can check her out on my ETSY

Hagatha and Thurston in a lovers tiff
The dramas pretty high around here. These two have been at it and need a good counseling service. Hagatha has become extremely uptight and Thurston can't seem to do anything right. Poor guy.

Count Thurston Trueblood
May I present to you, Count Thurston Trueblood. He is a malovelant vampire and will not actually drink blood from a live human host. Instead he nurses blood from the steam punk perpetual heart he carries around. Thurston deems himself as quite the ladys man and the ladys do see him as kind of a sex object. He was fun to make and was created from papier mache and paper clay.
