More Bolton Abbey...

The weekend wasn't my first visit to Bolton Abbey this year, last month one of my friends got married close to Bolton Abbey and on the following day a few of us went for a walk.

It was a bit of a gloomy day in comparison to last weekend but I think the photos turned out really well for it - very atmospheric, a bit like I imagine Wuthering Heights to feel...

Tina left a comment yesterday about how lucky I am to be able to visit these places and she's right. I love how close Kirkstall Abbey and Bolton Abbey are to where I live... especially when I get photos like these!

Location: Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire
Camera: Superheadz Yellow Peace
Film: Kodak ISO 200

I totally agree that it's great you get to visit places like these and take photos. These are awesome! I quite like mysterious places that look like a book world come to life.

P.S. I love your post card. I will have to get some for myself to send out.

I love the gloomy somewhat eerie feel of the photos. Makes me want to rush and finish my roll that I have in my Superheadz

great atmosphere! reminds me of visiting Fountain's Abbey (10 years ago now!), and seeing it "rising" through the mist as we wandered toward it through quiet lawns full of grazing sheep. I shot pictures of it with film, too :) thanks for the memories...
