A Third TTM Success From Scott Bailes

While going through my boxes, I found even more cards of Scott Bales so I could send a third TTM request to him.  The cards I got back were all junk wax era cards, but there's nothing wrong with that.  Above is a 1990 Donruss that turned out nicely.
Above are cards from 1990 Fleer, 1992 Fleer, 1991 Score and 1988 Donruss.  Somewhere i have a partial 1990 Fleer set.  Who knows where that is.  Otherwise, I'd have a lot more of them in the autograph album.

I mailed to Bailes on November 19 and got the cards back on December 6 for a 17-day TAT.

TTM Success - Matt Merullo

These Matt Merullo cards from the Junk Wax era had been held for a while in my to-be-TTMed box because I knew I had more that I could send to him. I finally got into my 1992 Toppa box and pulled that cards and sent this lot out.  I especially like the 1992 Fleer that I got signed.  I used to have a ton of these, but let a lot of them go.
I also got his 1990 Score, 1992 Donruss, 1992 Stadium Club and the 1992 Topps signed.

Merullo (b. 1965) played in the majors in 1989 and from 1991 to 1995 for the White Sox, Indians and Twins.  He had 116 hits, 7 home runs and a .234 batting average.

I mailed to Merullo on January 22 and got the cards back on February 27, for a 36-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jack Daugherty

Here are some early 90s cards that I got signed TTM recently by Jack Daugherty.  I had gone through those 90s boxes and pulled a bunch of people to send to, and Daugherty was one who had a bunch of cards.  I hadn't added a 1992 Fleer to the album in a while, so this one was nice to put in there.
I also got a 1990 Topps, 1991 Topps and 1992 Topps signed.

Daugherty (b. 1960) played in the majors in 1987 and from 1989 to 1993 for the Expos, Rangers, Astros and Reds.  He had 194 hits, 10 home runs and a .256 batting average.

I mailed to Daugherty on October 26 and got the cards back on November 14, for a 9-day TAT.

TTM Success - Eric Gunderson

Some cards were removed from my junk wax box when I got this TTM success from Eric Gunderson.  With the boxes and boxes of this stuff that I have, it is hard to get them organized and sorted so I can send to players from this era.  So, I take what I can get, and removing some Gunderson cards helped.
I got cards from 1992 FLeer (top), 1990 Score Rookies and Traded (left), 1991 Score (middle) and 1991 Upper deck signed.

Gunderson (b. 1966) played in the majors from 1990 to 1992 and 1994 to 2000 for the Giants, Mariners, Mets, Red Sox, Rangers and Blue Jays.  He had a record of 8-11 with 137 strike outs and a 4.95 ERA.

I mailed to Gunderson on November 17 and got the cards back on January 25, for a 69-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ruben Amaro Jr

I got some more junk wax era cards out of my box and into my album with this TTM success from former Phillies GM, Ruben Amaro, Jr.   I had a bunch of his cards, so I was glad to be able to get a few signed, and then send some off to some friends, so they too could get a few done.

Surprisingly, I don't have a whole lot of 1992 Fleer (top left).  Those must not have survived the great card purge I did a few years ago.  I had taken a buch of junk wax cards and made gift bags that I gave out for Halloween.  Now, I kind of wish I had kept some of those, because I wasn't doing TTM back then.

Amaro (b. 1965) played in the majors from 1991 to 1998 for the Angels, Phillies and Indians.  He had 218 hits, 16 home runs and a .235 batting average.

I mailed to Amaro on July 31 and got the cards back on August 24, for a 31-day TAT.

TTM Success - Mark Clark

I added some nice cards with this TTM success from former pitcher, Mark Clark.  The above 1992 Fleer Ultra turned out really nice.  I have a ton of these, but never get around to searching that box.  I hang closer to Topps stuff, but I may have to grab a few more and send them out.
Speaking of Topps, I added these three, from 1999, 2000 and 2001.  Those three sets are under-represented in my album, so it is nice to get a few in there.

Clark (b. 1968) played in the majors from 1991 to 2000 for the Cardinals, Indians, Mets, Cubs and Rangers.  He had a career record of 74-71 with 728 strike outs and a 4.61 ERA.

I mailed to Clark on March 14 and got the cards back on March 23, for a 9-day TAT.

TTM Success - Mike Timlin

Here we have another player who floated around my "to be TTMed" box for a long time before I finally got around to mailing.  I actually sent three cards of Mike Timlin out for signature, but he only signed two of them.  The one card he didn't sign was a 1998 Score, but that's ok, it'll go in my "extras" pile that gets sorted, then mailed out to kids as TTM Starter Packs.  I figure that's a good way to recycle some cards once I have a success back; send them out to kids to help them since they may not have many of those years of cards.
I was glad Timlin chose to sign this 1992 Fleer Rookie Sensations card.  This was picked up at my LCS, and I thought it would look nice in my album.  I always enjoy getting "different" cards signed.

Timlin (b. 1966) played in the majors from 1991 to 2008 for the Blue Jays, Mariners, Orioles, Cardinals, Phillies and Red Sox.  He had a career record of 75-73 with 872 strike outs and an ERA of 3.63.  He also had 141 career saves.  Timlin won the World Series twice with the Blue Jays (1992 and 1993) and twice with the Red Sox (2004 and 2007).

I mailed to Timlin on January 11 and got the cards back signed on January 27, for a 16-day TAT.

TTM Success - Scott Livingstone

Here is another player that I had a ton of cards of that I finally was able to send out.  The return is really great, starting with this 1993 Flair of Scott Livingstone.  This card looks awesome, especially in person.  I'm a big fan of sending these out, and am really glad this one came back looking the way it does.  Just a really sharp card.
I got two Topps cards from the success, a 1992 and 1993.  Both turned out great.  I liked the rookie cup logo on the 1993 Topps.
Finally, here are a couple other cards I sent, a 1992 Fleer and a 1995 Stadium Club.  I was surprised that I didn't have hardly any 1992 Fleer in my album, so this card will take care of that omission.

Livingstone (b. 1965) played in the majors from 1991 to 1998 for the Tigers, Padres, Cardinals and Expos.  He had 431 hits, 17 home runs and a .281 batting average.

I mailed to Livingstone on November 23 and got the cards back on December 9, for a 16-day TAT.
