TTM Success - Ryan Finan

A couple more cards were pulled from my Orioles box and put out in the world for signature, and came back.  These two cards from Ryan Finan turned out nicely.  I like how the 2007 Bowman Heritage looks.  I should have opened more from this set back in the day, but what did I know?
This 2007 Bowman Chrome also turned out well, and I am always happy to move these cards out, as I had a ton of them in my boxes over the years.

Finan (b. 1982) was a 21st round pick in the 2004 June Amateur Draft by the Orioles out of Lamar University.  He played in the minors from 2004 to 2008, all in the Orioles system, reaching AA.  He had 421 hits, 46 home runs and a .270 batting average.

I mailed to Finan on October 13 and got the cards back on December 11, for a 59-day TAT.

TTM Success - Mike Devaney

A couple more older Bowman cards were added to my autograph album with this TTM success from Mike Devaney.  The above 2007 Bowman Heritage card turned out great.  I enjoyed Bowman Heritage and was happy to see it resurrected a bit a couple years ago.  They always seem to look great when signed, and this one was no different.
I also got this 2007 Bowman signed, and it also turned out really well.  I'm always happy to get these signed and out of my boxes.

Devaney (b. 1982) was a 23rd round pick by the Mets in the 2004 June Amateur Draft out of Concordia University.  He played in the minors from 2004 to 2007, all in the Mets system, reaching AA.  He had a record of 33-18 with 377 strike outs and a 3.24 ERA.

I mailed to Devaney on September 22 and got the cards back on November 16, for a 55-day TAT.

TTM Success - Cooper Brannan

This was kind of an odd TTM.  I found this 2007 Bowman Heritage card of Cooper Brannan in my box while I was looking for other cards.  I randomly checked to see if he signed TTM, saw that he did, then was amazed at where he was living now.  He currently lives across town from me, in Winterville.  Weird.  So, I added that to my note, and he returned a note with my signed card saying that maybe we will run into each other sometime and grab a beer.  I thought that was pretty cool.

Brannan (b. 1984) was an undrafted pitcher in the Padres organization from 2007 to 2008.  He pitched to a record of 2-3 with 21 strike outs and a 8.18 ERA, reaching low A ball.

I mailed to Brannan on September 11 and got the card back on October 14, for a 33-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jeremy Papelbon

He isn't nearly as famous as his brother, but I was still excited to get a few cards back signed TTM from Jeremy Papelbon.  The above 2007 Bowman Heritage turned out well.  I have a small handful of these, and they look great when signed.
I was also really happy to move some of these 2007 Bowman, and they all turned out great.  I have a bunch of 2007 Bowmans, and am happy to get them signed.

Papelbon (b. 1983) was a 19th round pick by the Cubs in the 2006 June Amateur Draft out of the University of North Florida.  He played in the minors from 2006 to 2010, all in the Cubs system.  He reached AAA in his time in the minors.  He had a record of 22-15 with 338 strike outs and a 3.47 ERA.

He is the brother of former Red Sox closer, Jonathan Papelbon.

I mailed to Papelbon on May 24 and got the cards back on June 1, for an 8-day TAT.

Some Recent Nolan Reimold Pickups

While he had a seemingly rough year, Nolan Reimold is still one of "my guys."  I still scour Ebay and Instagram for Reimold cards that I don't yet have in my collection.  Recently, I made a deal with a kid from Charlotte for this 2007 Bowman Heritage auto.  I sent him some Paypal and he sent me this awesome on-card auto.  For some reason, I didn't have this card in my collection, so I am glad I can finally add it.  The auto looks great, I think.  I'm left to wonder, though, when will Topps bring back Bowman Heritage?  This was a really nice set and would work either as an insert set or an "every now and then" standalone set.
Here is a pink parallel from 2016 Topps Update.  I picked this card up from COMC.  It is numbered 31/50 and looks pretty cool.  I need to pick up some more of his parallels from 2016.  I just haven't had the time nor the funds to do so.
Finally, here is a really cool Reimold that I picked up in a trade with a kid named, Will, on Instagram.  I sent Will two cards he selected off of Ebay to make up for this, but in the end, I still think it was a great deal.  This is the red back short print from 2016 Heritage.
I don't know how short printed these were, but this is the only one I have seen.  It is a really cool card, and it came in great shape.  I was really glad that I saw it when I did, and be able to pick it up as easy as I did.

I'm really glad I was able to add all of these Nolans to my collection.  I'm really holding out hope that the Orioles bring him back, but I think it is highly unlikely.  If they don't bring him back, I'm still going to collect him and still going to cheer him on.  He's a great guy with a great family.  Here's hoping he gets a good deal for 2017.
