Hi everyone,
I have some FANTASTIC news for you today.... I have been asked by the lovely Michelle from Make it Monday if I would like to join the team!!!  Wow! am I excited or what!  I just can't take the smile off my face. The design team are a fantastic bunch of girls, and I have visited them often for inspiration.  I feel quiet honoured to have been asked to join them.  Me on the MIM design team...I still can't believe it lol!!
I just love Make it Monday it is such a wonderful place to showcase your cards new and old, and it's always anything goes, all you have to do is link up with another blog and leave them some love :) I've met some really lovely people, and there is so much inspiration, especially when your mojo goes walk about lol!!.  I have been chosen as pick of the week a couple of times and it's such a morale booster, and it gave me confidence too!  So come and link up with Make it Monday Linky party and show us what you have done:)  You might even win a fabulous prize from our lovely sponsors, or be a pick of the week on one of the teams blogs.

Now on to my first DT card, hope you like it... I have gone with red, white, and blue as it is the Queens Jubilee tomorrow.  I have used Mimosa from Bildmalarna, isn't she sweet!!  She's off to the Jubilee Party for tea and cake!! I made this for Candice, she's been saying how lovely it is all week, so I think she will be chuffed that it was for her all along lol!!

A peek at the inside

I have used my Prisma Pencils to colour her, and added stardust stickles to her petticoat, the little butterfly and the gorgeous roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts they also have l0% off everything until the 5th June. The stunning papers are from Nitwit Collections they are called Tour of London, they really are lovely and can be used for lots of different cards.  I have used a spellbinders nesty scalloped circle for the sentiment, and some gorgeous red and blue ribbon from my stash.  The lovely bunting is also from the Nitwit pack. I've also added some lovely lace which is just peeking out from underneath the ribbon.

This week we are sponsored by The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop

Sammie's Card

Good Afternoon everyone,
This is a special post for a very courageous young lady called Sammie.  She has just had major surgery, and it's not the first time she has had this operation. She is doing well, back chatting her mum already by all accounts ha!ha! Do pop over to pop's place for updates on her recovery (also have a look at the gorgeous puppies that have just arrived).
The card I sent to Sammie, was my very first attempt at colouring in with prisma pencils, and has been sitting in my special basket of cards... and like me I hope Sammie just goes from strength to strength!! Get well quickly Sammie!!
