The colours of Christmas
Another card that was fairly quick to do, at least once I got my head around it. lol
This time it's a stamp from Stampers Anonymous ...Joyful, and I have heat embossed with the WOW Sparkling Embossing Powder. I've cut and matted with the Spellbinders Labels Twenty Two die set, giving the edges a bit of gold pen.
Some additional stamping is added to the DP along with a few gemstones, before adding the bow. A classy look that is relatively quick to finish. I should do more of these!
Hope your Christmas preparations are coming along and you are better organized than me. lol.

Let there be Red...
This may be Valentine's Day weekend, but I've gone with red and a Christmas card. A relatively simple card, using a Spellbinder's die to first cut the DP, then some shiny red card stock, and finally the stamped image, all in graduated sizing. Although it is a little difficult to see, I have heat embossed the stamp with the WOW Sparkling Embossing Powder, for a nice festive look. Otherwise, theonly embellishments are some snowflake and border peel-offs. It will fit nicely into an envelope for Christmas mailing!
Winter is still in full force, back on the home front, and i am not missing it one little bit! I'm sure hoping for changes before month-end when I have to return. Take care everyone, and stay safe and warm.

Time is running out....
Well, it's definitely a snow day today. Just what everyone's been waiting for, with Christmas coming....except me! It does look pretty, so long as one doesn't have to go out...and today I don't. I'm hoping it will only stay for a few days, as the weekend looks to be a bit milder. I do want to get up to see my parents, but that's not a drive I relish if the roads aren't good.
As you can see, I'm not done with Christmas cards yet. Some heat embossing this time for this stamp from Stampers Anonymous. A nice simple card with a couple of papers, a bit of ribbon, a few stickers and some doodling. Time's running out so I am trying to make a few CAS cards.
Hope you are all better organized than me!! Take care and stay warm.

Last minute wrapping.....again!
Sometimes it's all in the presentation. My grandchildren will be getting something extra special this year....which could fit in an envelope, but that just wouldn't seem right. So I decided I needed to make something.....similar to a gift card holder (times 4).
I knew I wanted to use my latest stamp acquisition (Joyful from Stampers Anonymous), and my most recent Spellbinders die (Labels Twenty Two). Of course that was the easy part, where I had a plan!

As you can see I've covered the chocolate with different colours of card stock, adding embellishments, stickers, stamping...really anything I could find! Nothing too intricate, as I know these will be torn apart Christmas morning! The special gift tucks into the packaging behind the sentiment.
Hopefully you are all ready for Christmas, with all your wrapping done, or maybe I've given you an idea to help you along. Thanks for visiting and I hope you have an enjoyable day!
