I am using Fairy Hugs - Oscar

For this card,  i started with Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - ThunderGlow. Next, i simply stamped Fairy Hugs - Oscar in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne.  Fairy Hugs - Frilly Seaweed was stamped in VersaFine Clair Rain Forest.  Fairy Hugs - Net was stamped in VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist. I added a bit of grounding for the seaweed by using Prismacolor pencils.  I also colored Oscar with Prismacolor pencils. I used a gold glitter gel pen and a white gel pen to accent Oscar.

World Cup with Fairy Hugs - Izzu and Jassu & freebie

Hello... just sharing a sports card.

I don't mind sports, but i am really not into sports.  

I learn the simple basics and have been informed that the World Cup Soccer is a big deal.

So thinking about the event i came up with this card.

Let's see what we can make using supplies from Fairy Hugs Store 

I am using Fairy Hugs - Izzu and Jassu (twin dragons)

For this card,  I used white card stock 8" x 5.75".  I stamped the two dragons and the net with VersaFine Clair - Morning Mist.  Next, i used Distress Oxide - Mowed Lawn and a misted blending brush and covered the background.  I sprayed that with water droplets and heat set it. Then i did a few more layers using Distressed Oxide - Crushed Olive and Pine Needles, but this time i just stamped the ink on my work surface and sprayed the ink, ran my fingers through it to get some droplets and randomly touched the paper to the droplets. I heat set each layer.  I decided to color the dragons with Prismacolor pencils.  I grounded the dragons using a torn piece of paper as a mask and Distress Oxide - Lucky Clover. I added a few more "grounding" lines throughout the background.  Well, i needed a soccer ball, so i die cut a .75" white cardstock and drew in the soccer ball lines.  I distressed the ball with the Distress Oxide, Crushed Olive and Pine Needles.  I distressed the edges with Distress Oxide - Chipped Sapphire.  I sprayed the whole card with water droplets again and heat set it.   After i finished with that i decided i wanted the words, World Cup.  So i made a little banner.  I am sharing that with you below in case you'd like to make this card. I glued each banner piece to the card as shown.

This card started out with a Gel Plate print.  I love how i am never sure how the design will take place other than the colors i use.

First i stamped Fairy Hugs - Happy Moon, it happens to be one of my many favorites. Then i stamped one of the two Fairy Hugs - Raccoons.  Next i stamped several Fairy Hugs - Wild Leaves, which was stamped in VersaFine Clair - Nocturne and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  For a bit more texture i also stamped, Fairy Hugs - Net in VersaFine Clair - Fallen Leaves.  You can't see it well in the photo, but i used a gold gel pen on several of the dots on the net.  I colored in the moon with Prismacolor pencils and used a white gel pen on the raccoon.

Fairy Hugs - Gnome Mansion

  Hello everyone and Happy Friday!! 

Let's see what we can make using Fairy Hugs Store supplies! 

I am using Fairy Hugs - Gnome Mansion

This is a wonderful Fairy Hugs stamp called Gnome Mansion.  It is a larger stamp measuring at 4.5 " x 4".  This image was stamped with VersaFine Clair Ink - Morning Mist on white card stock.  I stamped it with a lighter ink so that i could color it with my Prismacolor pencils.  Once the coloring was done i added the Distress Oxide Ink background. 

Then i stamped Fairy Hugs - Net in VersaFine Clair - Pinecone and Fairy Hugs - Flower Vines in Rain Forest.

Fairy Hugs - It's a World Hug type of day!

  Fairy Hugs Store  has their own line of stamps, paper, glitter and ink!

Today i would love to share Fairy Hugs Scapes Paper - Playground

By cutting out the center of this paper you can get something that looks like the earth!

Pretty cool, huh?

    So this is super fun and totally made by accident.  I chose to cut out the center of Fairy Scapes Paper - Playground for some interest on top of the Fairy Hugs - Net layer..

and it ended up looking like the earth!

To get the net layer, i did some ink blending using Oxide Ink Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire. 

Then i stamped the net around randomly with Chipped Sapphire.

Next i did some fun stamping with Fairy Hugs - Mini Scallop Shell and Fairy Hugs - Mini Starfish.

I used a bit of glue and Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder - Bronze on the Starfish and

Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder - Cerulean on the Scallop Shell

For the Fairy Hugs - Seahorses i stamped them with Distress Oxide - Scattered Straw and Embossed them with Ranger Antique Gold Embossing Powder.
