Friday Fun with Katy

Hello!

Katy here today.  I hope that you had a wonderful Holiday!  It is always strange to think there are only a few more days of 2014.

I'm not quite ready to set goals (there's still Christmas leftovers in the fridge) but I am enjoying on reflecting back on my projects with Great Impressions.  And I decided that I should share my favorite project and card with all of you.  :) (Which was not easy task to choose my friends!)

My favorite project is the vintage Christmas ornament.  I love this this stamp G512 Winter Snowflake.  It works so nicely here with the gold embossing powder.

For my favorite card I chose the pop up card from Halloween.  I love Great Impressions Halloween stamps.  This was a lot of fun to make!

For this pop up card I used Great Impressions Stamps:

Thank you for taking this walk down memory lane with me! :)  This is my last post for Great Impressions.  I have been blessed to work with this wonderful company and the wonderful ladies who make Great Impressions so special.  And thank you for stopping by!  Lots of hugs and love! :)

Friday Fun-Halloween Decorations

Happy Halloween Everybody!

So today is the big day! :)  It's Katy, and it's time for me to share my Halloween decoration with you using Great Impressions Stamps.

This is a paper pumpkin made out of paper strips.  I used my stamps to embellish the outside of this little pumpkin.  I think it is good by itself, or if you made a  few of them they would be cute together.  This little pumpkin also acts as a vessel for goodies.  You can put candy in the middle!

I used these stamps:  E551 Too Cute Pumpkins, A134 Halloween Greetings, C406 Little Ghost, E645 Retro Spirals.

I hope that your day is full of candy and fun!

BOO! Banner

Hi, everyone!  It's NO CARD/TAG week this week at the Great Impressions blog this week and our theme is HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS.  Today I have a fun Halloween banner that uses some Halloween stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Take a peek...

Here's my banner~
More details on my personal blog HERE.

Great Impressions products used:

This is the same little ghost that I used on my card a few weeks ago, but here I removed the sentiment from him.  I heat embossed the BOO! and the ghost images in sparkly black (hard to see in these photos) and then filled in these little ghosts with glossy accents.  I'm not sure where this little banner will go, but I LOVE the way it turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  Hop over and come play along with our monthly challenge, too!  If you use stamps from Great Impressions, you'll be able to link up your creation in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Friday Fun with a Little Ghost

Hello Everybody!

Katy here and I am sharing with you one more Halloween card.  I love this house so much-it's definitely one of my favorites!

I used the following stamps: F561 Halloween House, C406 Little Ghost, and A134 Halloween Greetings.

I put pop dots under the house so the little ghost could peek out easily.  Ribbons and a spider punch finish the bottom of the card.  The candy corn is a button.  For more information on this card-be sure to check out my blog. :)

Thank you for stopping by!  For more inspiration be sure to check out our Facebook Page and our Pinterest Boards!  :)

Friday Fun with Pop Out Ghosts!

Hello Everybody!

Katy here today to show you some Halloween Spirit!  I am here to show you how you can put your Great Impression Stamps to good use on a Pop-Up Card.

Stamps Used:  G379 Spider Web

I stamped a lot of ghosts in black distress ink.  Then I used versamark and re-stamped over the ghosts.  I added glow in the dark embossing powder and heat set.  If the 2 images did not line up-that is ok.  In the daylight you can't really see the glow in the dark part.  If you can then it just adds a spooky touch! :)

Here is the front of the box.  In the picture above the spider web panel hides it.

And here is the card when the lights get turned out.  Soooo Spoooky!

For more details on this card-stop by my blog.

Be sure to check out our Facebook Page and Pinterest Boards for more inspiration.  And be sure to check out the sale and contest going on right now.  Click here for that! :)

And check out our awesome SALE-there is still plenty of time to get your spooky stamps!

I just adore this little stamp!  He's the perfect ghost for all your Halloween crafting needs.  All I did to accent him was to add a bit of subtle shading with a Spectrum Noir marker.   What do you think of him?!
