Rose Trio

HAPPY FRIDAY!
Robin here.  I'm so glad it's Friday and I have a new card to share with you.

For this card I am using Rose Trio (G454) with the sentiment Happy Everything (B246).  I've done the image twice so that I could pop it up for extra dimension. The background is embossed with roses and I had to add some butterflies for the Spring experience too.

Our challenge this month is Spring and/or Easter.  I so hope to see you in the challenge.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs,

Robin

Thank you ...

Good morning all! Ruza here to share a card that features the beautiful Rose Trio (G454) and Being You Sentiment (D509), available at Great Impressions Stamps.

I love roses, and couldn't resist creating a card that features the beautiful Rose Trio. I stamped the Rose Trio twice on Watercolor Paper with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink, then colored the roses with my Marvey Markers, pallet, water and paintbrush. I then added the Being You Sentiment and applied color around the sentiment and roses with distress ink, with the final step I added dots around the flowers, and added my panel to a cream card.

I hope you will check out, and play along with, this months Great Impressions Challenge ~ Anything Goes. Here is the awesome prize that you can win!

Roses of Friendship

Hi, all!  It's Monday, so I'm back to share a card made using some of my favorite stamps from Great Impressions!  Take a peek...

I started by stamping G454 Rose Trio onto kraft cardstock and colored it in with colored pencils.  I added some liquid pearls for a bit more shine and to tie in the polka dot paper used on the card base.

The sentiment I used is E841 To Be Oneself.  I truly believe this is the definition of friendship!  I stamped it onto white cardstock, and then accented it with a few fun embellishments.

I really like the way this turned out.  I think the red, white, and green are a bit Christmas-y sometimes, but I feel that they work well here.  What do you think?  Please leave me a comment below to let me know!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Rose Sympathy

Hello again everyone! I've decided we need some more sympathy card inspiration around here! If you're anything like me, you probably hate making these. It's hard to know where to start.
I've used Rose Trio G454, embossing them in white on vellum. I colored them from the back side of the vellum using Distress inks. The With Sympathy B178 sentiment was also embossed in white.
I think that vellum can be tricky to work with because you have to either hide your adhesive under other elements, or use some other means of attaching it to the base of your card. In this case I sewed it down to the cardstock underneath along the top, bottom and right edge. Then I put just a little bit of glue under each flower. Quick and easy to put together and I think these would be pretty in so many different colors! Thanks for stopping by today!

Red Velvet Roses

Hi, friends!  It's time for another post using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I have a card made with a beautiful rose image and a scriptural sentiment.  I colored in my roses with Spectrum Noir markers and kept it rather clean...come take a peek!

Here's my card~
I'd love for you to hop over to my personal blog HERE and leave me some love there, too!

I felt like the only thing the roses needed to be accented with was a few dots of liquid pearl.  I also though some faux stitching was in order to give a little bit of oomph to the panel.  What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at this card!  Hop over to the Great Impressions blog for more inspiration and come play along with our monthly challenge, too!  If you use stamps from Great Impressions, you'll be able to link up your creation in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
