She leaves a little sparkle...

Morning friends!  Lorie here with you this morning.  Today is a bitter sweet day for me as it is my last post as a design team member with Great Impressions Stamps.  I've truly enjoyed working with their fabulous rubber stamps!  Today I share another blast from the past of a liquid sort...
This is the bottle tag that I made for the Cut Cardstock Challenge.  I really love this tag...it's so fun and cute! The Great Impressions Stamps I've used on this project are:  F323 Fashion Swirls and E880 Sparkle Seriously, who doesn't like the bubble of a Moscato d' Asti wine?

I'd like to thank Mynn the design team coordinator for Great Impressions Stamps, Deone the owner of GIS and my design team sisters.  It's been fun...thanks so much for having me! I hope I've left a little sparkle here on the blog!

A Look Back - -

Good Tuesday morning friends, this is Lorie with you today!  My term with the Great Impressions Stamps design team will be finished at the end of June so I thought it would be fun to share a couple of my favorite cards that I've made during my time using these fun stamps so today I'm sharing the card I made for our May Challenge which was blinged birthday...
I've used E840 Friendship Bees and C467 Treat Yourself for this card. And I added bling to the bees wings as well as with the jewels on the card.  I seriously love these sweet bees!
Well, that is what I have to share with you today though I hope you'll stop back next week to join me for my last post as a design team member with Great Impressions Stamps!  Thank you for stopping by and make sure you hop on over to the Great Impressions blog to check out and play along with our current challenge!

Reach for your dreams - -

Good morning!  Ack, it is Tuesday again so this is Lorie with you today and seriously how did we get to the last day of May?  Only 10 more days until my youngest son graduates from high school...what?!?  There is still so much I'd like to do but I'm not going to stress myself out so I'm sure something will have to be not quite homemade.  :)  Speaking of graduation and Tuesday.  I've made another graduation card with the Cap & Scroll E326 stamp from Great Impressions Stamps...check it out!

I've used the sketch this week at CAS(E) this Sketch! to make this card and again, used my new t-square to make a frame (can you tell I love that thing?).  It seems like a perfect layout for a fun and simple layout with sequins and the stamp really being the star of the show.  Clean, simple, and perfect for a graduate! Well, that is what I have to share with you today!

Well, thank you for stopping by and make sure you hop on over to check out and play along with our current challenge!

Flowers for You!

Hello friends!  I'm just amazed at how fast this month is going by!  Here it is another Tuesday so this is Lorie from Live-Love-Laugh-Create 2 and I'm back to share with you another card made with a fun Great Impressions Stamp.
Look at that adorable F631 Bear With Flowers!  He's bringing a pot of lovely spring flowers to the birthday girl!  I love the way the papers mimic the sky and ground with the blue and flowered papers.  I've also used the C458 It's Your Birthday stamp which I clearly love because I use it often!  I decided to mimic the dots on the orange paper but in brown on some of the other papers and I think it gave the card a fun, happy look! Well, that is it for today!

Well, there you have it!  I hope you'll stop by the Great Impressions Stamps blog to play along with our Blinged Birthday challenge!

Reach For Your Dreams!

Hello!  It is Tuesday so that means this is Lorie stopping in today. Once again I'm excited to stop in and share with you a card I made with some wonderful Great Impressions Stamps!  Next month my youngest son is graduating high school so I, of course, have some graduation craftiness to make...starting with this fun card!
Don't ya just love it?  Clean, simple, and a bit abstract in the coloring, don't ya think?  I've used two GI stamps the Cap & Scroll E326, and Dreams B180.  I used a Real Red cardstock base and a white for the layer.  The grid detailing was made with t-ruler that I purchased recently.  I like the look!  It may just be one of my favorite Great Impressions cards!

Well, that is what I have to share with you today!  Thank you for stopping by and make sure you hop on over to the Great Impressions blog to check out and play along with our current challenge!

Owllo!

Good morning friends!  Today is Tuesday so this is Lorie and I get to share with you a fun card made with a Great Impressions Stamp!
There are so many times that I'm just looking for a 'hello' card and this super cute image is perfect!  This is called Owllo (G553).  I thought it would be fun to use blue paper up top of the card and then I embossed it with a cloud embossing folder.  The yellow scallop is reminiscent of the sun and then of course the leaf paper to ground it a bit.

Well, thank you for stopping by today!   Make sure you stop click over check out our current challenge!

Listen up...

Hello and happy Great Impressions Tuesday!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Thanks for stopping by to see the fun card I made with Great Impressions Stamps this week!
Today I'm featuring a card made with a new stamp called Dog & Bird G534 and the Cloud Stencil.  I decided on no sentiment on the outside so I could use it for any purpose.  The papers I've had hanging around my craft room for awhile and are nice and bright so I thought they would be perfect!

Well, thank you for stopping by today!   Make sure you check out our current challenge

This cheery card uses the following Great Impressions Stamps:  It's Your Birthday C458 and Spring Floral Border H228.   The patterned papers are from SU! and again, I happen to have some lovely yellow twine in my stash that matches so well and puts a perfect finish on the card...love it when that happens!

Fun Coffee!

Good morning friends! Today I'm sharing a card that I made after finding the papers in my stash...meeee too much paper?  No way!  *wink, wink*
My card today is made with the cute stamp Fun Coffee Cup H278.  As you can see I paper pieced the cup with a complimentary, fun, patterned paper, the whipped cream at the top has clear glaze as well as well as clear star gelly roll pen on it...so cute, wish I could have gotten a better photo for you. I had the perfect twine colors on hand to draw this all together!  I've also used a base of CutCardStock's brown paper bag precut card base which is a great finish to this card!

Well, that is what I have to share today. THANK YOU so much for stopping by! I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge! If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too! Until next time, happy stamping, friends! :)

Holy Cow...18?!?

Happy Tuesday!  I'm glad you are here for my Great Impressions Stamps design team post today!  We had a very special birthday in our house on Saturday...my youngest son (I have three boys) turned 18 on Saturday!!  Yep, it hit me kinda hard but I'm so excited for him and his future!  Let's get to the card I created for him, shall we?
Cute and so appropriate, right?  I've used the Holy Cow E818 stamp on the outside along with fun birthday papers from SU!  On the inside, below, I've used the It's Your Birthday C458.
I gotta tell ya...I really love this card!  It is so my personality and my sons at the same time!  Now, I'm going to wipe my tears and get on with my day!

Well, that is what I have to share today. THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card! I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge! I'll Watch From Here!

Happy Tuesday friends!  Wow, did last week go quickly!  I'm working on several projects for different things so it seems like my weeks are just flying by! I know you are here today to see a fun Great Impressions Stamps post though so lets get to it!
This silly little kitty is hiding behind the door because she is afraid of the number of candles that are being lit...lol!  I decided to go with a super clean and simple layout and the following Great Impressions Stamps:  Freak Me Out! (just part of the sentiment), Freaked Out Cat (front), and It's Your Birthday

I didn't really do much with the inside so I could personalize it when giving. And, that is what I have to share today. THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card! I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge! If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!

you're EGGstra special!

Okay, it's Tuesday and you know that means it's Lorie with you here today!  Shall we get started?  First my project:
I had a pot of very pretty tulips that I wanted to give to a friend for Easter so you know I had to make a little tag to present them to her.  For this super sweet tag I used F630 Harry With Egg and D517 Eggstra Special for the stamps and once again I've used the Cloud Stencil Kit to make the clouds.  To start I used some shimmery white cardstock and stamped Harry then colored him and the grass with Copics before making the clouds using Bashful Blue ink.  On the egg is some Smooch in Illuminate.  The sentiment is stamped on a fun dimensional tag in Rich Razzleberry.  A splash of a polka dot ribbon at the top and tahdah...you are all set!

Hoppy Easter!

Hello all...Happy Tuesday!  To follow the theme for the month I've made another fun bunny card for Easter using Hoppy Easter F438.  Since it is such a simple stamp I thought building a scene for it would be perfect so I pulled out a grass die and the Cloud Stencil Kit from Great Impressions and got to work!
I added a few sequins in the sky and tied a bow with some white twine and I think this makes a super sweet Easter card!

Peeking!

Well good morning friends and welcome to Great Impressions today!  I think spring might have actually sprung where I live so I thought why not pull out the fun brighter colors?
I started out with this super cute image called Puppy Peeking H264.  Isn't that puppy just the sweetest?  I love the expression on her face!  I colored her with Copics that are complimentary to the papers.  These papers are some super fun papers that I've had in my stash for awhile and I used a sketch that I found.  I added the twin for an extra little punch of color.
Now on the inside I wanted to the very cute Happy Everything B246 everything stamp but wanted to punch it up a little so I decided on a strip of the complimentary bee paper and stamped the sentiment directly on the paper.  Now, don't forget, to play along with our challenge this month please head over to the page HERE and link it up so we can see!  And, if you use a Great Impressions Stamp link it up to our customer gallery HERE as well!

Let Me Count The Ways

It is Tuesday so you know that means it is my day (Lorie) to post some fabby Great Impressions inspiration for you all!  My time in my crafty room has been so limited recently that I've taken to making some wonderful yet clean and simple creations of which this card is one of.
For this super sweet and fun card I used E840 Friendship Bees on the outside coloring them with Prismacolor Pencils and blending with a SU! blender pen.  I've added some Smooch on the bees wings and around the flower too.
Inside I used part of F614 Count The Ways though the entire sentiment would be adorable too!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I would love to you to join us for our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer gallery, too!

Bonfiles Kinda Freak Me Out!

Hello friends!  It is Tuesday so this is Lorie and I'm back to show you a fun and quirky birthday card that I made with a couple of fabulous Great Impressions stamps!
You know how...every now and then you make a card that just makes you giggle?  Well, for me, this is one of those cards!  I'm from Wisconsin so the cow is totally hilarious and the implications that even the cow is a bit afraid of those candles is just too, too funny!  For this card I used Holy Cow E818 and Freak Me Out! E887.  The Freak Me Out! sentiment is actually one piece but I can see myself using it as two separate sentiments so I just cut it apart.  I've used some SU! paper and a card sketch from SVG Cutting Files for the layout.
Can you see how this card made me giggle, a lot?!?  Well, I hope you enjoyed this fun card and it gave you some inspiration!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I would love to you to join us for our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer gallery, too!

Another year older?

Hi friends, it's Tuesday so that means I'm here to share with you some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Following our challenge theme for the month of celebrations I'm sharing another birthday card that I think is just so, so fun!  Check it out:
I've used two fun stamps on the outside F623 Sheepdog and It's Your Birthday C458.  I love the colors I've used for this card...red, yellow, and grey so manly right?  I hope so as it is for a guy!
On the inside of the card I stamped the D514 Another Year stamp - - so fun, right?  I added a fun little star as well.  This card just makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too!

Wishing you - -

Well hello friends!  Lorie here and today is my day to share Great Impressions Stamps.  I'm excited  to show you the fun tag I made for our challenge sponsorship over at Aud Sentiment Challenges.  The challenge is to use a Love Sentiment and I feel like I'm good at that so this was a fun one for me to create.  Shall we take a look?

For my tag I've used H280 Love & Happiness stamped on some pretty patterned paper, I added some visual interest at the bottom with a complimentary paper and a few sequins, some Illuminate Smooch, and twine really finishes this tag off well!  Sometimes clean and simple is what you need and this tag fits that bill.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my tag today!  I also would love to you to join us for our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer gallery, too!

Good morning friends, Lorie here with you this morning.  Can you believe we are in February already?  It is the month of love...well, the month of Valentine's Day.  I know some people don't celebrate it because it is a commercial holiday but I am totally into showing extra love to my friends and family on Valentine's Day so how about I show you another card I made?
As you can see I used a fun raccoon cut file along with the Bandit of Love Stamp on the outside.  As strange as it may seem I knew I wanted to use black or grey with this raccoon for the card base but of course  love calls for some red, right so I used red and white as the accent colors. My papers are from Pebbles Be Mine paper pad.  A little white gel pen on the raccoon really gave it some fun character.
And inside I added the Smokey the Love Bandit stamp and another little heart...can't have to many hearts in my opinion!  I left lots of room for a mushy note for my hubby!  I think I already made him a card for Valentine's Day but I often give him more than one throughout the day so this would be no different!

I would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge.  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!
