I've Got GAS!!! And Some Other Items

Here are some recent loots that I'd acquired for myself.

Got the HG 1/144 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G, cuz is just so damn awesome! And The HG 1/144 Bawoo I bought after I saw an awesome image at Busterbeam's blog (Plamo Addiction), and thought I should try to make the kit to look like that someday.

And these, I got for free from a friend at church. The HG 1/44 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. G30th & Gundam Trailer Truck (this will be a collector item for me)...and I've yet to figure out why my friend would give this away... And the other kit is the HG 1/44 Serpent Custom from the Gundam Wing OVA movie.

The 2 kits that I've been looking foward to for a long time... the HG 1/144 ReZEL & Stark Jegan.

I'd brought from Amazon the 2 most anticipated Blu-Ray for the 1st quarter of 2010. Gundam UC Episode 1 (...and the english dub finally doesn't suck.) & Evangelion 1.11 You Are Not Alone.

Both were awesome to watch on my big LCD, but I have got to admit that the quality of the Evanglion BR is better than Gundam UC BR. Somehow..during the CG portions, the frames stuttered so slightly...

Both were great movies!!!

And finally... I've got GAS. Yes, I bought the PSP's Gundam Assault Survive game.

There are certainly a mixed reaction about this game out there. And Famitsu gave this game a pretty good review with the score 33/40. I am certainly having a blast with it, the scope in the game is much more epic that any previous Gundam games on the PSP. I will post my initial thoughts on this soon.

1:1 Scale RX-78-2 Gundam On Display This Year

The 1:1 scale RX-78-2 Gundam seen last year at Shiokaze Park, Japan is will once again be on display this year at the front of the JR Shizuoka Station northeast side, Japan. This year, the display will have some new effects & new additions such as a new beam saber that slices into box, and a new display pedestal. Finally a weapon is included! And the official name for the statue is now called 'Real Grade 1/ RX-78-2 Gundam'.

Display period will be from July 24th 2010 - January 10th, 2011. Start planning your vacation.

Real Grade (RG) 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam

REAL is a acronym that stands for Revolutionary Extra Advanced Level. Read Grade will be the same 1/44 size as your usual High Grade kit size, but with a much higher level of detail and articulation that can match a Master Grade kit. Definitely will keep my eyes on this one.
