An analysis of Don't Ask Don't Tell, its repeal, and homosexuals in the military

Where to begin.

First off, I have absolutely no problem with homosexuals as people. Now let's get to the nitty gritty.

Homosexuality. It is wrong, unnatural, disgusting behavior. Not by my definition. By God's definition and the natural world. Homosexuality is a danger not only to society, but to the very people engaging is such acts, which results in extremely higher rates of STD's and drastic reductions in life expectancy. I won't waste my breath trying to convince you homosexuality is wrong. If you can't see that then you have a problem.

Don't Ask Don't Tell was the perfect policy to address homosexuals in the military. It allowed them to serve and protected them at the same time. Don't fall for the leftist trap that gays and lesbians were prohibited from serving. They had the same freedom to serve as heterosexuals. What is the difference? The gays feel a need to openly advertise their sexuality to the rest of the ranks. Why? Did previous homosexual soldiers really have such a hard time doing their duty for their country because they could not let all their fellow soldiers, and friends know how they prefer to have sexual intercourse? Tell me, who is really wrong here?

I am in the Army, and since the repeal of DADT I know quite a few soldiers who are now openly flamboyant to the point of arrogance. I am disgusted. There are two types of homosexuals. Those who make their sexuality their defining character and those who don't. These gays put their character in this order:

1) Gay
2) Soldier

On the contrary, do I put my defining characteristics as:

1) Straight
2) Soldier

???

Of course not, and neither do the rest of the straight military members. In fact, I wouldn't even put my sexuality on the top five on that list. But the gays do. They are gay above all else, and that is WRONG.

Now let's discuss the effects of gays in the military. For those past and present servicemembers, you know the importance of unit cohesion and the close proximity in which we live, deployed or not. We sleep, eat, shower, goof off, train, and fight together. If you seriously think an openly gay soldier does not make any difference here you are dead wrong. Homophobia? Hardly. Human nature. You liberal "intellectuals" need to come out of the fantasy bubble you live in. Get a clue.

Now that repeal is done, the Stars and Stripes military newspaper here in country is going gaga with "gay stories". They feel the need to highlight the gayness of gay troops from page A1 to D12, relegating the stories of combat in Afghanistan to the back pages. What a joke.

If you want to be gay, I have no problem with it. But quit making being gay who you are! Barack Obama and the liberal whackjobs who thought repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell was a good idea, especially in wartime, are naive idiots who wouldn't know the first thing about putting on a uniform.

I can get along with a gay person just fine, and have in the past, on one condition...don't make your sexuality who you are as a person. If you feel the need to do that, I will not get along with you, I will not respect you, and either way, I will never accept or respect your disgusting behavior.

Repeal of DADT was a big mistake and the evidence will come to light in the coming years.

Oh yeah, and if you think I am a bigot go ahead and kiss my behind. Your intolerance is worse than anyone's.

Political correctness makes its way into the US military

It appears the minions of the ultra PC left have flung their dung in such a wide radius, that even the United States military isn't safe. We already witnessed this with the Obama led repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell during a time of war. If that wasn't psycho enough, now our troops on the ground in Afghanistan will be subjected to Gay Sensitivity Training!

"You guys haven't made any gay jokes have you? You know that's against the law right?"

This is coming straight from the top, initiated by our very own president himself, and executed by his weakling Secretary of Defense! How nice of them.

I want to know why, in a time of war, is it necessary to even consider mentioning the issue of homosexual soldiers? Who cares! The focus should be the mission. The objective. Anyone who has been through basic training knows this. Instead of focusing all of our energy, resources, and time on annihilating the Taliban, our command thinks it pertinent to make sure all our soldiers accept sodomy in the ranks! SHAME on you!

It's disgusting and appalling our country has fallen such a long way in such a short period of time. Whatever happened to the greatest generation? We've gone from a nation of tough, independent, patriotic warriors and pioneers to a culture-less smattering of weak, entitled, careless appeasers!

Speaking from military experience.....this training is a joke and will be treated as such by the troops who have to go through it! 

Homosexuality is no longer a societal taboo.

Nearly everywhere I look anymore someone is trumpeting the homosexual agenda, whether it be a moronic reporter, a military general testifying before Congress, an entertainment "artist", or a subtle (or sometimes not so subtle) magazine ad.

In a world where economic collapse of our nation is imminent, Islamic terrorism continues to be a real threat, and international relations and alliances are in a continual phase of conflict and change due to the aforementioned factors, homosexuality shouldn't even be an issue.

Yet, almost daily, I'm met with homosexual news. Most obviously, the current debate about Don't Ask Don't Tell.

Let's get something straight. We are in a time of war. Our soldiers are dying on the frontlines. Yet, our military "leadership", all the way up to the Secretary of Defense, thinks it pertinent to devote much of their time to abolishing a policy on homosexual soldiers which we have never had a problem with, and a policy in my opinion that is spot on.

DADT does not prohibit gays from serving. It makes it so they don't openly make their sexual orientation an issue in the ranks. What's wrong with that? It protects the homosexuals in my opinion. But nevermind that. Today's left wing culture warriors demand gays be treated as if they were straight. They like to pretend that the fact homosexuals turn the natural into the unnatural, is absolutely nonexistent. Typical leftist abandon of reason and cold, hard, fact!

My view on homosexuality is this. It is disgusting. It is backwards. It is against the laws of nature. Gays can do whatever they want with themselves. It's none of my business! And it's none of the government's business....UNTIL you broadcast it to the world and make it the sole identifier of yourself! I have no problem with a homosexual who keeps it to themselves and goes about their business. What I do have a problem with are the militant gays who demand homosexuals be treated as if they weren't homosexual. Because that's exactly what they are doing.

Like the title says. Homosexuality is no longer a taboo in 2010 America. In fact, if you watch the media, listen to popular music, or read magazines you might actually think our society prefers it. (Gasp! What a surprise.) I turn on the local news and see a story about civil unions being made legal in my home state, complete with footage of two males in passionate embrace. Oh how sweet! I'm so happy for them! Next, I flip to the national news and find a left tilted story covering the DADT debate. Disgusted, I turn off the TV and open a magazine only to be met with an ad featuring two women disgustingly mouthing each other. Has this country gone mad?

It shouldn't even be talked about. The mere fact our very own military leadership has succumbed to the homosexual mafia's desires while we are in the middle of a war is a testament to just how far our society has fallen.

NY GOP gov hopeful Paladino makes anti-gay remarks

Cue the cheesy 50's horror film music.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino told Orthodox Jewish leaders on Sunday he doesn't want children "brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality" is acceptable.


Paladino, who has received tea party support, made the comments at a synagogue in Brooklyn's Williamsburg section while trying to strike a contrast between himself and his Democratic rival, state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. Paladino said he chose not to march in this summer's gay pride parade but his opponent did.


"That's not how God created us," Paladino said of being gay, "and that's not the example that we should be showing our children."


He added that children who later in life choose to marry people of the opposite sex and raise families would be "much better off and much more successful."


"I don't want them to be brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option," he said.

He even went as far as to omit this line from his prepared speech...

"There is nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual."


Could someone tell me what is wrong with the above statements? They are 100% true. Bravo to Carl Paladino for being a respectable human being and condemning such damnation. Of course, leftists everywhere are collectively wetting themselves over such an atrocity. Quick, someone call Amnesty International or the ACLU. Or maybe NAMBLA.
