Colorful !!!

Beautiful colours.....In december we went to India, we made so many pictures just a little selection ... an inspiration.. an experience, we did a lot, we met a lot of people... an incredible place... but also a lot of horning, smell and garbage, but it is not so nice to put those pictures on the blog...

What have I done lately.........well

When I am traveling I always take a little project with me... this is it... Home of a needleworker, a nice little embroidery,  the text sure fits me, I like embroidery, quilting and knitting .-) would it be enough needlework ??

Kopenhagen Nyhavn, beautiful weather and such a nice weekend !!

Normally it would be wool or fabrics... but no this is lego... isn't it fun !!

Can't find time to work on the medallion quilt... have to do my homework, so hopefully soon you see the birds finally sitting on a branch with leaves and the pieces will be joined together  ... 

And  a finish.. I am so happy it feels very soft and was much easier to knit then I expected a pattern by Rowan, knitted with big wool (drift), the front you can see on the message below... 

 Almost finished, well finished, I am on the last rows of my Christel Seyfart mongolia Shawl... and she is Danish... ( but this shawl I already started a few years ago) and after the last rows I need to do the borders would love to start blue and black already, but have to finis 10 rows of 522 stitches ....

York

 A few days in York, such a lovely little holiday. The first day Beautiful weather, the second day a little bit chilly but still dry and nice...

Very nice lovely place with little shops in beautiful mostly wooden houses. A nice afternoon Tea. Lovely.......  !!!We followed the crafters trail, and did the Quilt museum. But the shops where the best...

Maar wat vond ik daar in Ijsland,......een prachtige winkel storkupping in Reykjavik echt te gek, heerlijk daar kan je je hart aan ophalen !!!

Kan je je het voorstellen, sneeuw, hagel en af en toe eeen zonnetje en dan heerlijk in een blue lagoon liggen, stoom kwam van het water af echt zo bijzonder !!!!

vakantie

Terug van weggeweest ...tja...al wel een tijdje geleden maar nu maar vanaf begin december tot nu vertellen... vakantie in Israel, heel bijzonder, indrukwekkend, mooi, zonnig, vriendelijke, smakelijk en gezellig.

Londen part 3

But Londen was not only our place for famous sightseeings...we also went to Liberty ........ for shopping !!!

Springbreak

In Februari we went to London..... we had a lovely time...we saw so much.........

Christmas holiday we went to Florida!!

we had a lovely time there and travelled through the country finding places to eat and stay lovely !!!

Texel

We eat at a lovely farmhouse. You can also stay there for the night it is called the 14 stars, I love the name, this is because the have 14 totally different rooms. We drove from Den Hoorn, to De Koog to Den Burg.

Texel

Texel is an island just above Den Helder, in just 25 minutes by boot you will be there but the atmosfere is totally different, here some pictures of yesterday. We just went for a day. Mostly people go there to visit for a longer period, but one day is also very nice to do.

door 10 huskies echt helemaal super, een hondensleetocht, over het ijs, door de bossen en de prachtig besneeuwde bomen, een sprookje ....

Zweden is top

Onze aankomst in Zweden. Na een reisje naar Kiel, s avonds op de boot (19.00 uur) en de volgende ochtend kom je aan in Götenborg (9.00 uur). Heerlijk in Götenborg rond gewandeld chocomelk met slagroom gedronken in Haga en vervolgens verder naar Orsa, onze eindbestemming met sneeuw en skigebied.
