DTBST - Add A Sentiment

Hello Sassy Fans!

Hope you looking forward to another challenge over at the DTBST blog - Link is HERE
This week we want you to add a sentiment to your project.
I went with Cleopatra Portrait :)

She has been coloured in using Spectrum Noir pens and I've cut out certain layers to 3D her.
The sentiment is part of the set with the image.
Added black and gold ribbon for a bit of detail.

Here's a couple more pics of the image:

Hope you enjoy the challenge!

MTTC DT - Flowers

Good Morning!

It's Saturday and I'm off to work.... booooo!
But before I leave, here's my post for the new Challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This week we want to see "Flowers"
This should be your main image :)

I'm showing you something different today as it's not a card.

This is a box I made for Mothers Day for a friend at work to give to her daughter from the boys.
The image is a "sunflower" digi image from Make It Crafty - Link is HERE
You'll see in the next lot of pics that the sunflowers have been layered. I cut and coloured the specific bits that I wanted to layer and cut them out. I think there's 5 or 6 layers.
The whole image and quote is in a 23cm by 23cm white IKEA frame.

Lots of big pictures! I had to get the detail in to show you :)
Thanks for popping by!
Enjoy the challenge :)

SSD Progressive challenge - Birthday Cake Sassy

Good Afternoon!

It's that time again where we start off with a new progressive challenge on the Sassy Studio Facebook Group. the group can be found HERE.

This time round we are using the awesome image.. Birthday Cake Sassy which can be found HERE. (Scroll down to the bottom and she is there)

So, my card...

When I first started this card, I had the great idea to 3D the image... Boy was that a mistake! My head nearly fell off with it. I felt like I was colouring and cutting out for hours! So as you've probably sussed, the girl and cake are 3D'd. They have been coloured with promarkers. The sentiment has been printed straight on to plain white card along with the base image. The grey scallop edge I cut out with scallop scissors. A little time consuming but a great effect. Here's a few more pics of the 3D'd cake..

Come say Hi! stop by to play or just show us your crafty SSD creations.
I'm off to the craft room..

Something New
