Talbot Lago T26C

This was one of the cars entered in the Coys auction which took place during the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1994.
It's obviously a Talbot Lago, but apart from that I can't find any information about this particular car.
Early Talbot Lago sportscars were the T26C Grand Prix cars with a widened body to accommodate two seats, and were fitted with lights and simple motorcycle-style mudguards.
For the 1952 Le Mans 24 hour race, motorcycle-style mudguards were banned and cars had to have all-enveloping bodywork. Some of the T26C Talbot Lagos were rebodied in this style and this is perhaps one of those.

Alfa Romeo T33/3

This was one of the cars displayed by the auctioneers Coys at the Silverstone Historic Tribute meeting in June 2004.
It's a 1969 Alfa Romeo T33/3, looking in rather a sorry state. The cars were not successful in 1969 but improved in 1970, finally coming good in 1971 as this Wikipedia article tells you.

Invicta

This car was amongst the cars being displayed by the auctioneers Coys at the Silverstone Historic Tribute meeting in June 2004.
It's a 1932 Invicta S type, but I can't find out anything more about the car apart from this snippet from the 2010 Le Mans Classic race......

......and a photograph of the car in this report of the Flying Scotsman Rally of 2014.

Fiat 8V

I remember seeing a photograph and reading about the Fiat 8V in an 'Observer's Book of the Automobile' in the mid-1950s, but I'd never seen one until I went to the Silverstone Historic Tribute meeting in June 2004. The car shown below was amongst the vehicles being displayed by the auctioneers Coys.
I've been through all the Fiat 8Vs pictured in Google Images but this particular car isn't shown, unless it's been re-painted in another colour at some point.

Friday's Ferrari

At the race meetings for historic vehicles at Silverstone it's always interesting and enjoyable to have a walk round the area devoted to the various owners' clubs and marque displays on the infield adjacent to the paddock. These photographs were taken in the Ferrari Owners Club area mainly at various of the Coys International Historic Festival meetings I've attended.
A line of Ferraris at the 1992 meeting headed by a 330GT 2+2 and a 275GTB
Again at the 1992 meeting a 250GT Boano and a 250GT California
This is a line of Ferraris as far as the eye can see at the 1997 meeting
This is a Ferrari F50 in 1998. The F50 was introduced in 1995 to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary.
This Ferrari 500 Superfast was seen at the 2001 Coys meeting. There's also an F40 and a 250GT Coupe.
In 2010 at the Silverstone Classic meeting I took this photograph of a Ferrari 365GT 2+2 and a 365GTC
This is a line of Dino Ferraris, also at the 2010 Silverstone Classic meeting
