Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

I took this photograph in December last year of an aircraft passing over Hyde just a few minutes before landing at Manchester Airport.

It's a Saudia Airline Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in the 'Riyadh Season 2021 Livery', registration HZ-ARB, arriving from Jeddah. The Saudia Airline currently operates five flights a week between Jeddah and Manchester.

Three Aeroplanes

I took the photographs of these three aeroplanes passing over Hyde on a sunny day in February 2019 a few minutes before they landed at Manchester Airport.

This is Emirates flight EK17 from Dubai and it's an Airbus A380-861, registration number A6-EEJ

This is TUI flight BY2627 from Chambery and it's a Boeing 737 MAX 8, registration number G-TUMC. After two fatal accidents the MAX 8 was grounded in March 2019 and has only recently been cleared to resume service.

This is Saudia flight SV123 from Jeddah and it's a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, registration number HZ-AR23.

At 6.55pm on 8 August 2018 this aircraft flew over Hyde, Cheshire just a few minutes before landing at Manchester Airport.

It's Emirates flight EK19 from Dubai.

It's an Airbus A380 and is the world's largest passenger aircraft.

Emirates currently has 104 of these aircraft, with orders for a further 58.

The registration number of this one is A6-EOY.

There are three daily Emirates flights from Dubai to Manchester, each one using the A380.

I was in Hyde Town centre on 28 November 2017 when the late morning Emirates flight from Dubai passed over just before landing at Manchester Airport.

It's due to land at 11:20am, but it passed overhead at 11:24 so would have landed at Manchester Airport about three minutes later.

It's an Airbus A380-861 and the registration mark is A6-EDL.

Embraer ERJ-145LU

Eastern Airways flight BE2994 from Glasgow to Manchester at 12:04pm on 19 November 2017 passing over Hyde a few minutes before landing at Manchester Airport.

It's an Embraer ERJ-145LU and the registration mark is G-CISK

Boeing 777

I took these photographs at 11.22am on 6 October 2017 of Qatar Airways Cargo Flight QR8190 passing over Hyde just 3 minutes before landing at Manchester Airport.

It's a Boeing 777-FDZ arriving from Dublin

The aircraft registration number is A7-BJF

Taken from my back garden, and aircraft frequently lower their landing gear at around this point.

I took these photographs at 10:34am on 26 August 2017 of a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner passing over Hyde on its way to landing at Manchester Airport.

Flightradar24 said that it was TUI Airlines flight BY644 from Bristol to Cancun.

It's registration number is G-TUIH

The Flightradar24 flight record simply says that it was diverted to Manchester Airport.

ATR 72-500 G-VZON on Aurigny Flight GR670 passing over Hyde at 7.53am on 25 April 2017 just prior to landing (about 3 minutes later) at Manchester Airport.

Here are photographs of three different aeroplanes passing over Hyde on the afternoon of 11th April this year just prior to landing at Manchester Airport.

At 2.28pm this is a Boeing 737-7K2 on KLM flight KL1087 from Amsterdam. The registration number is PH-BGI.

At 3.00pm an Airbus A321-231 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1995 from Istanbul, registration number TC-JSG.

At 4.46pm an ATR 72-600 on Aer Lingus Regional (ops. Stobart Air) flight EI3328 from Dublin, registration number EI-FAX.

Airbus Aircraft

Within the space of less than 25 minutes on 11th April 2015 three different types of Airbus aircraft landed at Manchester Airport and they are pictured below as they passed over Hyde just prior to landing.

At 11.10am this was the Germania flight ST8719 from Tarbes to London which was diverted to Manchester. It's an Airbus A319-112, registration number D-ASTA.

At 11.19am this Airbus A320-214, registration number EC-MCUG, on Vueling Airlines flight VY4511 from Perpignan passed overhead.

At 11.33am this was the Airbus A321-211 of Thomas Cook Airline on flight TCX2035 from Grenoble. The registration number of this aircraft is G-TCDZ.

Embraer ERJ-190

I took this photograph of this aeroplane passing over Hyde on 11th April 2015 just before it landed at Manchester Airport.

It's a Finnair Embraer ERJ-190 in Oneworld livery on flight AY937 from Helsinki. The aircraft registration number is OH-LKN.

Bombardier Dash 8

On 7th June 2015 the aircraft on Flybe flight BE354 from Newquay to Manchester was a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 in Flybe's purple livery.

Here's the Bombardier passing over Hyde just 3 minutes before landing at Manchester Airport.

The registration number of the aircraft is G-PRPL, which seems to be a nod to the new livery.
