1928/18 Franziss Special

This car was one of the competitors in Brooklands & Goddard Trophies Race and also in the Boulogne Trophy Race at the Vintage Sports Car Club's meeting at Oulton Park in May 2005.
It's the 1928/18 Franziss Special of Roger Sweet, which he created himself using the chassis of a 1928 Frazer Nash and a 1918 Curtiss OX-5 V8 aero engine that the programme of the event says has a capacity of 9 litres.

Vintage Seaman Race 2008

I took this photograph at Redgate corner during the Vintage Seaman Race at the Vintage Sports Car Club's SeeRed meeting at Donington Park in June 2008.
The car leading here is the 1929 Frazer Nash Super Sports of Charles Gillett and on the right is the 1926 GN Parker of Justin Maeers. That car is obscuring the one behind, but following them is the 1930 AC/GN Special of Robert Carr and bringing up the rear on the left is the blue 1926/18 Franziss Special of Roger Sweet.

Franziss Special

This car took part in two races, including the one for the Boulogne Trophy, at the VSCC's meeting at Oulton Park in June 2006.
It's Roger Sweet's 1928/18 Franziss Special, created by Roger Sweet himself in the spirit of earlier VSCC Specials, with a Frazer Nash chassis and a 9 litre V8 Curtiss OX-5 aero engine.
