Bee Tilda

Hello Magnolia Friends

I have a CAS card for you today.  This is Bee Tilda from the Spring Fever Collection. I colored her with Copic Sketch markers and I kept the card clean and simple.  The sentiment is from an older Magnolia Collection with I still love to use. The designer patterned paper is one of my favorites and is also from Magnolia.

It's a short post for me today but I hope you found some inspiration in my card.

Have a wonderful week ahead and I'll see you again soon!

Tilda with Spring Flowers

Hi Friends!

I have another card using a stamp from the New Spring Fever Collection.  It's not very often that I get to post twice in a week but I've been trying to catch up.  I'm going to have along weekend at work so I will be in my craft room again by Wednesday night....ish. And I'll be missing my craft room over the weekend.

On to my card, I used Tilda with Spring Flowers. I love her hair.  I am obsessed with coloring hair and I like how Pauline (illustrator of Magnolia Stamps) drew/designed Tilda with her hair like this.  There are a few more stamps that are similar to this...hair strands instead of waves or curls.

Here I colored Tilda with Copic Sketch Markers.  It's been a while since I colored with Copic Markers and I was reminded how wonderful these markers are.  As always, I need to practice more. Oh well...

I didn't take more detailed photos because you can pretty much see everything in this photo.  The designer patterned paper is from Magnolia, the DooHickeys used are:  Sakura Branch (Flowers), Rose Leaf,  Bride Bow.

I also used dies from Marianne Designs and Go Kreate and a piece of lace and a paper doily.  And I stained or painted the edges of each paper piece with antique white acrylic paint.

That's it for me today. I hope to see you again soon. And I hope you like my card.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs!

Here's a close up of Tilda.

Boutique Magnolia GDT

Hello Friends!

A couple weeks a go I received a message from one of my Magnolia Sweden DT teammates, Babi, and she asked me if I would like to be a Guest DT for her Brazillian challenge blog, called
Boutique Magnolia.  Of course, I said yes.

The theme for this challenge is

You have to use an older Magnolia stamp, at least before 2013. If you just started playing with Magnolia stamps and you have not seen the older stamps, you have got to check them out. There are online stores who still carry a few oldies but you can always go to the Old Magnolia Online Shop to get them.  I have a few older stamps and I'm still eyeing on a few more that I really like.

Now on to my card.  I used Ribbon Tilda from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection of 2011. This collection was released just a month or two after I started card making.
Tilda is colored with Copics and the flowers, leaves and twigs were cut using
Magnolia DooHickey Dies.

Come and join the fun and use your older Magnolia stamps and
link up your creation for a chance to win!

Thanks again, Babi and the rest of the DT for having me as your GDT.
I wish you all the best!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

September Release Review

Today I have a simple card as a review for the September Release.
This release is perfect for Autumn and back to school cards.
Here, I used the School Supplies Dies and the School Logos stamp (older release)
to make this simple card.
I die cut the pencil first before coloring it in.

Be sure to visit the CCD store  and I'll see you again soon!
