Dynamic Duos #96

Time for another great color combo at Dynamic Duos. This week the color 'gumball green' has me longing for a glimpse of 'green' grass. After the 'surprise' storm on Saturday night, we were left with about 9" of very heavy wet snow.YUCK While doing our driveway (and many of the neighbors driveways) our snow blower developed what my husband called a 'clunking noise'...thank goodness the snow removal process is over till the end of the year...I HOPE!!!

Whenever I use the color 'green', it seems as though any shade of 'purple'  is my 'go to' color. Next time perhaps I should try something outside my comfort zone.... or maybe not. lol

The inside of my card is ready for an any occasion sentiment or blank for writing a quick note.

One Layer - Round & Round

During the past 10 weeks I have been hosting cook-outs for birthday parties, guests from France, holidays or family get together's along with a few day trips. This week for the first time since June 17 there is nothing "planned".... that is, of course, NOT etched in stone. A cook-out could erupt on any day, at any hour, for any reason.

I finally had a few minutes to visit my Butterfly Garden and was able to make this card for two challenges. The Paper Players challenge hosted by Ann is to create a "one layer card", the challenge at Less is More is "round and round", therefore this card is for both challenges.

The Flourishes stamp was colored with Prisma colored pencils and blended with Gamsol. Cuttlebug supplied the embossing folder.

CAS @ Paper Players

The challenge at The Paper Players this week is to design a CAS card. I am really lovin' these CAS cards!! They are much easier to create and they fit in a standard size envelope with standard postage....my kinda card!

Flourishes stamp, Cuttlebug embossing folder, various dye inks applied with pieces of Cut 'n Dry, bronze gel pen, black ultra fine liner, and Prisma Colored pencils were all used to create this card.
