Postcard DIY: Clown Play Ball

Before this, I used circle sticker as bubble which you can refer post of “Postcard DIY: Blowing Bubbles” while this post, I used circle sticker as ball so I draw clown.

For me, clown was no easy to draw especially his hand. I cannot draw his right hand same as left hand so I used sticker to cover his right hand that made like the clown get the ball. 

This time, after draw the clown, I found out that it has many empty spaces at the left of postcard so I searched online to find meaningful words about clown. The words sound like every of us like a clown whose play 5 balls. These 5 balls are work, health, family, friends and soul. One of the balls is made from rubber which will bounce back when fall and it is work. The other four balls are made of glass which easy break.

我们每个人都像小丑，玩着5个球，

5个球是你的工作，健康，家庭，朋友和灵魂。

这五个球只有一个是用橡胶做的，掉下去会弹起来，那就是工作。

另外四个球都是用玻璃做的，掉了就碎了。

这段话很值得我们深思。

Crocodile Farm cum Mini Zoo

This crocodile farm located quite far from town and local seldom go there so Stephanie (taxi driver) had lost when she wanted took us to there. Luckily, finally she still found the crocodile farm.

We did not visit the crocodile farm but we just took some pictures at the front of crocodile farm’s entrance. The view at here is so beautiful.

At the front of crocodile farm has a wish pool that you can make a wish at here.

Crocodile farm is very suitable for family visit because beside crocodile, you also can see some animals like horse, bear and so on. According to the board, you even can take picture with baby bear and python.

The mascot for crocodile farm, everybody should take a photo with it.

Beside wish pool, it has a horse at the front of crocodile farm’s entrance. I did not dare to take a close picture with the horse as I scared that it suddenly become angry and hit me. Haha..

By looking with this drawing map, inside of crocodile farm is big and many things that can be seen around. I think by visiting this crocodile farm, it will use up to 2-3 hours for it.

Accoding to Deekuntum blog, the ticket for Malaysian adult is RM 18 and children are RM 9 while Non Malaysian adult is RM 25 and children are RM 15.

Paragon Food Court

After visiting Crocodile Farm, Stephanie had brought us to Paragon Food Court for lunch. At here has many food stalls for you to choose for. This food court is near with Paragon Lutong Hotel.

I had ordered Kuching Tomato noodle that cost me RM 5.00. The taste of this noodle quite same with the noodle that I eat at S2 Café.

Usually when travel in Malaysia, I will choose for budget hotel because spend less in accommodation and spend more on shopping . Haha.. This times as attending friend’s wedding, I had chance to stay in deluxe room with some friends.

Around 9 p.m., we were arrived hotel. As my friend had helped us to book for rooms so hotel has reserve rooms for us. Advisable to book for the room if you want standard room which cheaper as the times we were there, all the standard rooms were fully booked.

The times we in Miri, the sky keep raining. As many of us did not bring umbrella so I had asked the front office to see whether can borrow umbrella or not. The receptionist pointed a side near with sofa and all  the umbrellas had been taking by hotel guests. 

When get the room key card, it has wifi password on there. I am satisfied with its wifi services. Remember to take care of key card as any lost or damage card will need to pay RM 30 of penalty.

The hotel’s check out time is 12 noon and a half day charge of room rate will be added for extended checkout time before 6 p.m. and a full day charge after 6 p.m.

Our room rate did not include breakfast so I did not try the food in restaurant.

Before you go into lift, you can see a shoe polish machine. This is very good for businessman as they can polish their shoes before go to work or meeting.

Our room is deluxe room which has a standard bed and queen size bed. Three of us stayed in this room. This room looks big and comfortable.

The TV in room can access the CCTV video channel as surrounding of hotel premises has 24 hour CCTV surveillance. You can always check for your own transport which parking around hotel. The parking is free and reserved for customer.

In room has some common equipment and things such as fridge, iron (inside cupboard), kettle and many more. The drinking water is free of charge. The switches are enough for three of us to charge hand phone.

In washroom, has some toiletry such as comb, razor, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush. The washroom is quite big.

If really want to say the cons of this room will be the soundproof is not good because can hear the people walk around. I was thinking that whether our neighbor will hear of our talk especially the ghost story in the night. Haha..

The location of this hotel is strategic as it is easy for you go to shopping mall such as Bintang Mega Mall & Imperial Mall. Besides that it also near with Miri Street Art. Near with hotel has bakery, restaurants and so on.

Wordless Wednesday: Sarawak Map & Fruits Postcards

'Wordless Wednesday: Postcard' is recording all the postcards that I had bought from time to time for exchange purpose.

Talking about Sarawak, I just had been travel to Limbang, Kuching and Miri before and look forward for more trips in Sarawak especially Sibu. These two postcards were bought by me in Miri Airport.

Return Letter from Easter Bunny 2015

How to send letter to Easter Bunny?

In 7^th April, I had received a return letter from Easter Bunny. As usual, I was attracted by its post mark which is so beautiful.

At the back of envelope, you can see the busy Easter Bunny was preparing for Easter Day.

In the envelope have 2 postcards and a card about step by step of Easter egg decoration but in German. The Easter eggs on postcard are blank so you need to draw it before send out the postcard.

I had made a comparison on the letter received by this year and last year. I found out that all are different except the letters.

Next year, I would like to try to send the postcard to male Easter Bunny to see any different compare with female Easter Bunny.

  

Chinese New Year Cards 2015

In this year, I had made Goat Year Red Packets to my friends. Some of them were sending Chinese New Year Card for me.

Meteor is a friend whose we knew each other because I had won a prize from her Facebook page. After few months, she had private massage (PM) me to fill a form so she can send Christmas card to me. In this year, I had sent my DIY red packet to she. I did not expect will get any return from she. After Chinese New Year, I had received her DIY sheep cards and cute 3D card. So surprise!!!

This was Chinese New Year card from Bao Qiong. Inside of this card, she had use colorful dot dot to draw a mandarin orange. So creative!!

This Chinese New Year card with red packets sent from Angeline Wong, a Malaysia singer. It is every easy to get it just PM my address to she and she will send to me. The red packets are so beautiful.

After received my Goat year red packet, my friend suddenly feel want to send me Chinese New Year greeting. She did not have any card so she wrote a letter for me.  It made me knew that Chinese New Year not compulsory must send a card, you also can write a letter to someone you care as long as you take effort to write it. 

This card from Sheta who done a nice decoration for the card by stamping with stickers. The stamping is so cute and beautiful.

This card was send from my friend who did not send Chinese New Year card for long time ago. After received my goat year red packet, she feel want to send card for me. I was thinking that is this the power of send Chinese New Year greeting through card or red packet?

DstoryLINES was sending a cute sheep card to me. Inside of this card has lots of cute sheep.

Su Qian was so creative that sent DIY Chinese New Year card for me. The card was so special.

2015-03 Favorite Postcards Received

This month, my sister passed a postcard to me which bought by her boyfriend during his Melbourne trip. Look like many of my friends will think of me when see the postcard. Haha..

This postcard from WithGaLoveTaiwan, Ah Ga is a funny people whose like to record video. Beside postcard, he had sent some red packets for me.

This postcard’s photo took by my postcard friend. She told me that this was her first time to see night view. She shared her first Taiwan night view with me, so sweet of her.

This is traffic light postcard in Berlin. This was my first time to receive traffic light postcard. It is so interesting.

When in Chinese New Year, many people like to play Mahjong with friends and relatives. Do you? I did not know how to play. For your information that Mahjong is a game that originated in China and commonly played by 4 players. This was my first time to see playing Mahjong postcard.

This is an illustration postcard. I just wonder that whether the sender’s face looks exactly same with the girl on postcard. That would be the fun of postcard because you did not know he or she before so by receive the postcard and see the handwriting, try to imagine his or her face. Haha..

This Japanese style illustration postcard was so beautiful. Do you spot my name on the postcard?  Hehe..

I like this postcard as it show the famous places in Kaohsiung, Taiwan through illustration. By seeing this postcard, it makes me have a quick look for the places that can be going at Kaohsiung.

I like the content of this postcard. The handwriting of Chinese word Happy Chinese New Year was so beautiful. How I wish that I also has that writing skill.
