Top 2 Winners for ISSC32

Hi everyone! Hope that you all had a fantastic weekend filled with fun things to do and lovely people to see! I have just been sitting here ogling each and every entry for the ISSC32 Challenge and I had the toughest time coming up with this weeks winners! You guys came up with some fabulous projects and I was really torn with narrowing it down to just two lovely entries!


Have no fear, I did manage to (albeit begrudgingly) narrow it down so here are this week's winners...

This lovely feminine birthday greeting was presented to us by Bird and she has done a phenomenal job at keeping her card clean and crisp even with all of the lovely details of the gorgeous cut files, stitching and embellishments! Just beautiful!

Susie Wittwer

Susie blew me away with all of her little tags, stamps and shapes that went in to created this beautiful card! I love that she posted numerous photos so that we could capture all of the fantastic little touches that make this card irresistible! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us Susie!

Winner, winner chicken dinner! Yes, that's right! We are back with our Top 2 Winners from the ISSC31 Sketch Challenge! We had a ton of fabulous entries and such creativity! You guys amaze me!

So I've decided that when I grow up (eventually ;) that I want colour just like Sandra! This little Scootin' Bye card really stood out as a thumbnail and then knocked my socks off when I went to visit her over at her blog! Lisa used such rich colours that create such a lovely ambiance for what could pass for antique books! I love how her butterfly looks like it just fluttered down and landed on that scrumptious stack of books too :) 

Rose Miller

Rose has created such a lovely paper pieced pincushion and spool for her sewing themed card. I love that she has stitched the card to match and that her papers have a bit of a well loved feel to them :D

 I adore the homespun feel to Leanne's card with the loving hand stitching and the subtle distressing along with her old world quilt feel to the card :) The papers that she picked remind me so much of Holly Hobby :D Just gorgeous!

I love, love, LOVE all of the wonderful texture that Lori has achieved with her card. From the chevron embossed paper to the felt acorn die cut to the softness of the twine. What a lovely card to bring in the start of fall :)

First of all...can you believe that these are stickers? Wow! Stickers sure have come a long way since my childhood sticker books with scratch and sniff stickers in them! Oh, I'm dating myself *blush* Anyhoo, look at this gorgeous card with STICKERS! I adore the colours that Stephanie chose and I especially like the "Sushi" word treatment down the edge of the fishtail banner, oh and that lantern is pretty darn cute too! Love it all Stephanie!

 

 

 

 Joan Ervin

Next up is Joan's gorgeous felt embellishment card. I love how she took her colour inspiration from the rich ribbon and applied it to an all white base so that the colours really stand out. And would you look at that figure 8 twine treatment? Who'd a thunk that it would pack such a pleasing punch? Beautiful card Joan and thanks for inspiring us to try new things with twine!

Just the other day, I was outside thinking to myself that it was starting to feel like September and this card brings it right home for me! I love the fall and not only is this card crisp, clean and simple but it's also elegant with these gorgeous die cut leaves made with sheet music :) Nancy, this is gorgeous!

As I was browsing through the entries this card really called to my love of bold colours! The primary colours against the white really stood out and when I got a closer look at the card, I couldn't help but smile! The practically toothless little monster reminds me of my 7 year old little girl and really, what toothless wonder doesn't melt your heart ;) Love all of the fabulous stitching and polka dots too! This card caught my eye in a heartbeat! I adore the whimsical fishing lures and a few of them remind me of the ones from my Dad's tackle box that almost landed on the ocean floor when we took my kids fishing off the wharf this past weekend! I must admit that I'm a sucker for googlie eyes too and I can't help but think that these little guys are looking up at me and saying "Pick me, pick me" :D Such a fun card Jeanne!

I swear that I didn't intentionally set out to pick fish themed cards this week but LeAnne's was another brilliant creation! You guys are just so freaking talented that I have such a hard time picking the Top 2! LeAnne's card immediately caught my attention with her little fishy that looks like it's taking a giant leap of faith! I love that she set her fish swimming in a sea of polka dots!
