Get Well Soon

Getting in just under the wire with this week's photo inspiration challenge (136) at Skipping Stones Design.  Here's the photo:

Here's my card-I'm starting to really love the grey/yellow combo of colors.  Very fresh and soothing, perfect for a get well card.

The paper is from Echo Park, flower stamp is from Stampin' UP!, sentiment is from Skipping Stones Design from years ago, not sure if it's still in their store.

Thanks for dropping by,

Speedy Recovery

Hello again,
Today I'm sharing a really quick card made for my FIL who recently had knee surgery.  I wish I knew the mauf. for the gorgeous black paper, but it's been in my stash for years I have no recollection of where I got it.

The sentiment is computer generated, the scroll is a sticker from SRM and the Washi tape is from Queen and Co.

Thanks so much fro visiting,
Ivanka

CPS 160

I love the sketch at CPS this week. It's clean and simple and has so many possibilities. It came at a perfect time to help me make the cards for a swap I'm in.

Here's my take on the sketch. The paper is from Basic Grey (Eva), the hand made pink paper was embossed with Cuttlebug's candy stripe embossing folder. The sentiment is a digital freebie from here. Love this!! 1/2 pearls are from Martha Stewart.

I love it when a sketch fulfills a need! Perfect.

Thanks for dropping by today.

Just the Basics

I had some time this afternoon and wanted to make a card for Kazan's sketch #20 at 2 Sketches 4You. Turns out that desire don't mean a thing. Nothing worked. I changed colors, themes, card sizes and orientations...nada...zip...
I finally decided to break the sketch down to bare bones and made 2 quick masculine themed cards that are just the basics. Turns out...I kindda like them...

Stamps are Serendipity (tree) and Inkadinkadoo (sentiment). Buttons are from Melissa Frances.
Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully my creativity will catch up with me sometime this week...
