New Life.

VIOLET THEODORA - BORN 25TH OCTOBER 2012.

My beautiful teeny tiny little bundle of joy, who joined our family at 9.24am on Thursday 25th October 2012, weighing 6lb 7oz.

I am totally in love, enjoying every single second of the baby 'fug' that has descended over our household. 

My pregnancy was fraught from beginning to end and I feel privileged to have delivered a healthy little girl after almost 9 months of constant worry.  She was born by elective c-section to ensure the safety of us both.  Her weight dropped down to 5lb last week but she's starting to thrive now, regaining a little weight day by day.

Both sisters are floating on cloud 9, fighting over who gives her the first cuddle of the day.  It totally fills my heart with joy to watch them all together.  I was overjoyed to have another girl.

Whilst I get through these early days of two hourly feeds in a somewhat 'manic' household as we all settle into our new routine as a family of five, all I have to do is look at my little girl sleeping soundly in her crib that I too slept in as a baby (as have my other two girls), and remind myself just how quickly time passes.  I am making the most of every single second.

I love you with all my heart Violet and cannot wait to continue making the memories that we have already begun to create.  Life is great and I feel extremely blessed to have you in our lives.
