Merry Christmas to all!!!

Here is a super cute image by Mo Manning that I just love!!!  I first saw this image colored by Marlena at Marlena's Paper Paradise and besides loving her coloring...I loved the image and had to get it! 

I had recently bought some Promarkers to try and initially colored the image with them.  I went over the skin tones and the deeper red colors with Copic markers.  The diamond embellishments were clear but once I adhered them to the card I colored them with a Copic marker to make them gold.  I used Yellow Stickles on the ornament in the image.  I created the "Merry Christmas" sentiment and border in Silhouette Studio and cut it on my Silhouette.  The gold Glittered Paper by The Paper Studio (from Hobby Lobby) was easy to cut on my Cameo...I simply set the blade at 3 and did a double cut and it cut perfectly!  I used a Martha Steward punch for the gold corner tabs.  The patterned paper I used is from Michael's and is called Jolly Holiday...it is a stack from Recollections.

I also started out making the following cards to give as my Christmas cards...but did not have time to finish them.  I still think they need a little more, however, they are going to be put to the side for now.  The black silhouette image is a file from the Silhouette Store and the gold vellum snowflake banner image is as well.  The sentiment is a stamp (which needs to be cleaned up), the scalloped circle is my first attempt at using Spellbinders (yes, I am far behind the times on that one!)  Finally the papers are from a stack I purchased at Michael's called The Traditional Holiday by DCWV.
