I am not often completely satisfied with my paintings.   As many artists can attest, the pieces don't always live up to what you had in mind.  I am also usually caught up in the process, and am excited to move on to painting the next piece.  This one however, was a favourite one painted this past winter.  I was content with the colours and the sense of light on the rocks in this one.

This is a commission completed this winter.  The client requested the painting be in two parts.   That way if they eventually move the pieces could be separated, and would work in a smaller space.
