Brown, Orange, Green

Hi everyone. I know i haven't posted or done any challenges in a while but i have so many card orders that i have had to concentrate on them to get them done and out the door.
But finally it's my time again and i thought i wouold start this by doing the blog candy challenge on Bearly Mine Crafts. Donna's challenge 'I'm really into brown, orange and green right now, so I'm setting a card challenge for you to make a card using those colors and also using flowers.'

Here is my card and it really doesn't take much explaining, but it has given me the chance to use my new silk flowers that i bought on Friday. As you can see i have done some doodling on the papers which seems to be my theme at the moment. The sentiment is from the 99p selection of stamps from studio G.

Ismaki #16

Here is my take on the ismaki #16 sketch.
The option is to use 4 colour-coordinated patterned papers.
The papers i have used I got from Nikki so not sure of the manufacturer. the stamp is Dungaree Maggie from bootiful stampz, coloured with my water colour pencils. The sentiment and proverb i printed on the computer.

Anniversary Card

I had a few anniversary card to make this month, then i noticed the challenge on Di Hickman's Blog. I used her card sketch #2 and her theme for thursday is Anniversary cards.
The backing paper is part of some i recieved from Nikki, I stamped the sentiment from my see d's collection and then added a flower die cut with my cuttlebug and then added a couple of silk flowers. Card finished with a border peel off. the card looked a bit too plain so i then scalloped the edges of my card, to give it a bit more definition.
Hope you like it

CPS #57 challenge

Well It's been a while since i have posted but i have been so busy with the family I haven't had much time to make cards over the past week or so.
Today I decided to try and get back into the swing of things, so I have started with the CPS #57 challenge, and here is the card i made from the sketch.
The backing paper and mulbery flowers i used were from a PIF i recieved. I layered the backing paper onto some glitter cards and then stamped a sentiment using a see d's stamp and sakura stardust pen, and layered this onto a peice of card embossed with the cuttlebug. I then punched a couple of eyelets onto the card to thread a ribbon through. The card was then finished off with gems to give it a bit more sparkle

Beaded Card

I made this card after being inspired by a project set on an msn group.
I started with an aperture card and then backed the outer apertures with glitter card. The beads were threaded on to wire and stuck to the inside of the aperture.
I finished it off with peel off borders a gold elastic thread bowed and a silk fabric rose.

Nan's 90th

This is a card i have made for my Nan's 90th Birthday.
I got the idea from a fellow blogger, and thought it would be a lovely special card for her.
I have used acetate (although a little too thin for this) and used the stitching peall offs, without being stitched. I have placed a decoupage orchid in the middle and matched up the sentiment on the inside of the card so it won't show through when the card is closed. Finished off with a nice organza ribbon and bow

This is a card from the grand-children. It is made using the Arty Farty Poppy template. The outside is made using the cuttlebug happy birthday embossing folder with gold card.

On the inside I have used a medallion peel off that i have places onto acetate and then used permanent markets to give colour.
This was then, placed onto the circular cut out and suspended with with gold thread, tied in a bow with a gem fixed into the centre. Embellished with gold peel offs.
