"A Holly Jolly"...

Christmas is sure to be had...

simply by creating these happy holly pins...
you'll be so glad...

so many options...

from colors to trims...(and a little sparkle too!)

Oh! dear Martha!-
I'm a bit sad...
I just need more time this Christmas you see...
to create all the delightful things you've inspired!

for now though...
this "Holly" pin I shall wear...
and others I made, soon I will share...
in hopes of spreading a bit of "Jolly" this season!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Many Blessings!

Bon-Bons for me!!!

Bon-Bons?

while I should have been doing this...

instead the girls and I sat around making Bon-Bons...
necklaces that is...

much more fun than what I was supposed to be doing...
but after some thought,
I realized I WAS doing what I supposed to do...
for in just the "blink of an eye" these precious little ones will be grown-
and I am quite certain the laundry will still be there!

for now though...
I'm choosing Bon-Bons!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings!

It's all in the details...

When the girls awoke this morning...
they found a little note...

tucked among a few new goodies...

made with lots and lots of love...

while they were fast asleep last night,
I snuck into the studio...

gathered, cut, stitched and glued (burned!)...

with each pair I created, I enjoyed thinking about how much the girls would
like them... which ones would be their favorites...

the Prince was in the studio with me...
we enjoyed chatting, about past beach vacations...
how much the girls have grown...

what a beautiful night!

filled with delightful details!
that will remain a favorite memory for years to come!

(and the girls have some new flip-flops for the trip!)

Have a happy day!
Many Blessings!

"Sew" Excited!!!

We're gettin' ready for vacation!!!
One week!!!...and counting!

this little basket is filled with goodies I want to sew- or should I say-
"embellish" before we leave...
- t-shirts and tanks for the girls
-hoodies for the girls and me too!
& flip-flops for the girls

now the fun (hard) part!
do I choose from here...

or here...

or here...

and of course a nice healthy dose of trimms is always good too!

Oh! How I wish I didn't ALWAYS wait until the last minute!!
Oh well, I guess you just have to "love who you are"...

and get hoppin'...lots to do!
I hope to share the finished products next week before we leave!
fingers crossed!

Have a happy day!
Many Blessings!

A gift from the sea...

Bringin' Summer to the table...

It all began with these...
After a generous dose of "crafty magic"...

They became these...

Tucked into the centerpiece...
One for each precious member of the family...

Summer is here...

and it's going to be just lovely!

Happy Monday!

Many Blessings!

Just pieces...

Throughout the year I save (and cherish!) the children's artwork...
I always have the intention to frame every piece in a fabulous chunky (expensive!) frame...
REALITY: I have three children! The cost would be astronomical!
and even if I could frame each piece I would never have enough wall space
to hang them all!

Cost effective solution:
Collage frame!

I chose some of the artwork that wasn't going to be framed- yes, I still frame some of the art each year- I just can't help it!

and I cut pieces from all three children's collection for the year...
piecing them together to form little collages...
this way I can still have their artwork -or should I say "pieces" of their artwork-
framed to enjoy!

The finished project!
Oh, I also added a little black glaze to the frame- just to take a little "gold" out.

Happy Friday!
Many Blessings!

Just add...

Sometimes, (O.K.- ALL the time!)
I find things that I think would be fun to embellish a little...

Like these metal cut-outs I found at Target the other day...

with a few quick additions- paint, glaze, fabric, ribbon & glitter-of course!

A sweet little gift is created...

or a new little "something" to dress-up a candlestick!

Have a happy- creative day!

Blessings!

Rockin' and Rollin'...

So, I have been on a roll lately... "rock-and-roll"...

(I know- cheesy- but, I couldn't resist!)

creating a few gifts...

These "art" rocks will be nestled in a little brown bag, tagged with:

"Home is where your story begins..."

and given to some dear friends that are moving...

and these are for the Graduates-

tagged with a precious Scripture...

a few sweet friends birthdays and end-of-the-year teacher gifts-

tagged with:

You Rock!

These were so much fun to create!

I can't wait to give them to all these special people!

Oh my! I just realized I forgot about a dozen more gifts I need-
well, back to "Rockin' and Rollin' "!

Have a happy day!
Many Blessings!
