I Hope This Perks You Up

Any time I see a coffee challenge, I love playing along.  No need to wonder why.  It's because I love coffee and crafting.  I almost always have a caffeinated beverage next to me when I'm in my craft room.  It's my creative fuel, I suppose.  There are a few fun coffee challenges taking place right now where I'm excited to share my card; and I sure had a great time creating it.
I started with basic black cardstock for my base.  The patterned paper is from JilliBean Soup and I cut it with a curved edge (by hand) and inked it with Mowed Grass Ink.  The coffee cups I stamped, colored and cut were done using a very old stamp set from my stash from V's Sweet Ideas where I used to serve on the Design Team.  The tree stump, darling animals and leaves were stamped using the Woodland Littles Stamp Set from Hello Bluebird.
The little holly and ivy images and sentiment are from Paper Sweeties where I also served on the Design Team.  Yes, it's a blessing to have a large stash of stamps.  I used some crumbled styrofoam to create the "snow" on my card.  This is a trick I learned long ago from my creative friend, Esther.  She's always got a trick or two up her creative sleeve.
I'm excited to play along in these caffeinated challenges.  I hope you're creating some fun cards and having a happy week sharing your art out there in blogland and on social media.  Speaking of which, I'd love to have you come Follow me on Instagram as well as here on my blog.  Thanks so much for your visit today.

I'm playing along in the following:

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge - Challenge #34 - Coffee, Christmas and Whimsical Winter Theme

TIME OUT Challenges - Challenge #274 - Photo Inspiration - Well, it's pretty clear how I was inspired.  They had me at coffee.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Add Some Texture" so I used shredded styrofoam to create some snow to give my card extra texture, and to make it more "Wintery and Christmassy".

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Use Patterned Paper" - I used an (older) green plaid patterned paper from JilliBean Soup at the bottom of my card.

Not 2 Shabby Blog - October Mood Board Challenge - I was inspired by the pinks, the deer, and the sweet images on the mood board.  I don't own any Not 2 Shabby branded products yet.
Thanks again for visiting today.

Ready for Autumn at The Four Seasons

Are you ready for Autumn?  YES for me.  I'm excited for cooler temperatures and being able to wear all my cute sweaters, scarves, boots and jackets.  And...I'm just excited to not be overheating like an old radiator every day.  LOL  Well, ready or not; Autumn is upon us and it's time for our first Autumn challenge of the year at The Four Seasons Challenge Blog.  We sure do hope you'll come join the fun.
This card uses blue and black cardstock and a patterned paper from JilliBean Soup.  The top layer is a piece of simple white cardstock that I sprayed with Tattered Angels spray and Tim Holtz Walnut Ink.  I stamped all those cute words on my background using the adorable Blessed Stamp Set.  The truck is from Paper Sweeties Merry Christmas Y'all Stamp Set and was cut using the coordinating Merry Christmas Y'all Dies.
The pumpkins are from their Truck Add-On Stamp Set and cut with the Truck Add-On Dies.  The little corn husks are from a Lawn Fawn stamp set.  That's pretty much it for my supply list....with the exception of a couple little sequins.  Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.  Oh, the little pumpkin sprinkles are from Twiddler's Nook.
We hope you'll pop on over to The Four Seasons Challenge Blog to play along with us this month.  You can use the inspiration photo to inspire you.  I was drawn to the truck in the upper left, the corn and the gorgeous Autumn colors.  What inspires you?  We can hardly wait to see what you'll create to share with us this month.  Happy crafting, y'all.
Oh, before I forget....here's the inspiration photo (above) to get you started.  I was inspired by the old pick-up truck, the Fall colors, the corn and the pumpkins.  What's speaking to you?

I'm playing along in the following:

Inspiration Station Challenge Blog - Challenge #65 - The farm scene really inspired my Autumn card.

You Had Me at Coffee

If you're anything like me, COFFEE is a big part of crafting.  I almost always have either a vanilla latte or a Strawberry Acai Lemonade on my workstation as I'm making my cards.  Since I'm such a lover of both coffee and card-making, it makes perfect sense that I'd want to play along at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge.
I used basic white cardstock layered with an old Crate Paper patterned paper.  I ran a length of Black & White Bold Check Ribbon across my card.  The sentiment and coffee mugs from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, the frame it's in is from Paper Sweeties.  The cute yule log, candy canes and lollypops images are from Whimsy Stamps.
What else?  A couple of sequins for accent, and some plastic candy canes for fun.  The darling coffee beans scattered around my card are from Twiddler's Nook.  They have so many fun confetti mixes in different shapes, etc. at Twiddler's Nook; and the Owner, Amanda, is a sweetheart.  You'll want to check out her fabulous Etsy Shop.
I've loved participating in the Coffee Hops for many years.  In fact, there's one coming up soon for all you coffee-loving card makers out there.  It's always a lot of FUN.  You can stop by to see what Amy and her coffee crew are brewing up at the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog as well.

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenges - Challenge #33 - Christmas Coffee with Candy/Treats - YES, PLEASE!  What a perfect combo.  Come and play along.

TIME OUT Challenge Blog - Challenge #271 - Friendship, Encouragement and Support - Nothing tells a friend you're thinking of them better than a handmade card with a Starbucks gift card tucked inside.  This one is going to a special friend who needs some encouragement right now.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Stamp It" - Happy STAMPtember to everyone; especially to our friends at Simon Says Stamp.  I did lots of stamping on this card.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Recycle It" - I "recycled" this card.  I used portions of it in the past, but some things had fallen off, gotten lost, etc., so I gave it a good recycling.  I also used recycled scraps of white cardstock to stamp all the small images.  Make the most of all you've got, right?

Thanks so much for visiting me here today.  Grab a cup of your favorite beverage, get creative and come share your art out in blogland.  See you there.

Blessings,
Karen

Get Well Soon

Like many of you, I've been blessed to serve as a Design Team Member at some really amazing stores over the years.  While it's always sad to see some of these stores being forced to close their doors, it's still FUN to use their products.  And.....I have A LOT of product that I don't use much anymore.  One of those companies is Paper Sweeties.  I really enjoyed being on that DT, and I'm always excited when I have a reason to pull out and use some of their stamps and dies.
I used the Feel Better Soon Stamp Set when creating this card.  I stamped the bandaid onto an actual bandaid.  I also used Sophie and the Stitched Tags #1 Dies on this card.  I cut the tags from gingham patterned papers and added baker's twine to each one.
Paper Sweeties is still open.  You can still purchase all their darling stamps, dies and goodies.  I believe the store itself is still up for sale if anyone is interested in taking on this endeavor.  I'll be sharing this card in some fun challenges.  I hope you're staying creative, and I'll see you out there in blog land, everyone.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.

A Barrel of Monkeys Challenge Blog - Challenge #14 - The Game Operation - I always loved that game as a kid, and now I want to buy it for my oldest grandchild (5).  I was inspired by DeAnne's card using a nurse.  We all know that nurses are awesome, and the "operation" couldn't be done without their assistance.

Blessings,
Karen

July Blog Hop w\Really Reasonable Ribbon

If you LOVE a good Blog Hop, then you're in for a real treat.  Today starts the July Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and this Blog Hop has only six (6) stops in total, so it's quick and easy.  AND...one really lucky person who comments on each blog will WIN a generous $10 gift certificate to spend at Really Reasonable Ribbon PLUS two sheets of digital stamps from the FABULOUS Bonnie Garby Designs.  Now that's something worth hopping along to win.  I simply adore both of these amazing stores and I think that you will, too.  Hopefully, you arrived here by way of Bonnie's Blog; but if not, you can get caught up quickly as this is a short blog hop.
I'm sharing two similar, but different, cards in this Blog Hop.  My first card, shown above, started with white cardstock and a piece of patterned paper.  All the stamps (clouds, flamingo, palm trees, surf board, etc. images) I used are from Paper Sweeties, and the darling sentiments are both from Bonnie Garby Designs.  These fun sentiments were perfect to celebrate Summer, and I knew that Really Reasonable Ribbon would have the perfect trims to help me completely these cards.
I ran a length of pretty Fuchsia Wrinkle Ribbon and some Solid Lemonwood Baker's Twine and wrapped them around my card.  I topped that with a lovely little Miniature Pink Sweetheart Blossom.  I just love how the ribbons add texture to cards like nothing else can do.  It's the perfect finishing touch every time.  The sentiment spot and all the little stamped images are attached to the card using either Scor-Tape or 3-D Adhesive Foam Squares.
For my second card, I did away with the patterned paper background and used a fun stencil along with various pink shades of oxide inks to stencil the bright fun background.  I attached the stamped images once again using Scor-Tape and 3-D Adhesive Foam Squares.  The sentiment is another fabulous one from Bonnie Garby Designs.  I knew I also wanted to add some goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I bundled up some Ivory Burlap String, Parrot Green Burlap String and Solid Deep Pink Baker's Twine and I topped them with a gorgeous Pink Cottage Rose.  No matter what I'm creating, I can always count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have the perfect trims and flowers.  Their vast variety of Mulberry Flowers is always super helpful.
Feel free to ask any questions you  might have about the products I used.  I'm always happy to help you figure out anything you might be questioning because I really do hope you'll check out both Really Reasonable Ribbon and Bonnie Garby Designs.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and don't forget your next stop on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog where you'll answer one final question so that you'll be entered to WIN the fabulous prizes.  I'm so grateful for your visit today.

I'm playing along in these FUN and FAB challenges I love:

Stencil Fun Challenge Blog - July Challenge - Anything Goes/Optional Birthday - The stencil I used is on my second card, and it's a bubble (circle) stencil that I used with various colors of pink oxide inks (Raspberry, Kitsch and Spun Sugar).

As You Like It Challenge Blog - Favorite Thing To Do On Holiday - Beach or No Beach?  Well, despite the fact that these two cards are saying BEACH, YES....the truth is that I don't enjoy going to the beach for any holiday.  That's mainly because I sunburn so easily, so I try to stay out of the direct sun as much as possible on all Summer holidays.  I'd rather be inside enjoying food, music, and fun with family and friends.

Dar & Diane's Double D Challenge Blog - The Great Outdoors - The water activities image is the one that spoke to me the most, but I also got inspiration from the pink/pastel photo.  Who doesn't love some surfting?  (not me....lol)  The Double D DT gave me so  much great inspiration as well.
Happy crafting to all you sweet and talented friends.

Blessings,
Karen

25 Days of Christmas w/Paper Sweeties

Christmas is almost here!  Today is Day 23 in the 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties and I'm sharing a sweet little gift tag.  We all need gift tags at Christmas and all year long; and at Paper Sweeties, you'll find several useful tag dies to help with this need.  There are SO many cute and helpful crafting items.
For this Christmas gift tag, I started with the For You Stamp Set and coordinating For You Sweet Cuts to create the tag base.  In addition to the darling tag, there are also several useful and adorable sentiments in the For You Stamp Set, and I used some of them on this sweet tag (For You/With Love).  Next, I used the ADORABLE Stitched Tags #2 Sweet Cuts to cut my mittens from patterned paper.  I used the Stitched Tags #2 Sweet Cuts again to cut the mitten tops from cream wool felt and the sweet little bow from the patterned paper.  I added a sweet Sequin on the bow and added a length of Seam Binding to the tag.
The For You Sweet Cuts were used again on my second tag.  I'm telling you, this TAG DIE is awesome, and I use it A LOT.  The Stitched Tags #2 Sweet Cuts also contain this adorable Christmas tree, so I used that to cut my tree from wool felt.  The star can be found in the Planner Series Shape Icons.  A few more of the darling Sequins were the finishing touch.  We all need a good tag die, and the For You Sweet Cuts are a great choice.
There are so many sweet, useful and just plain ADORABLE products available at Paper Sweeties.  You won't want to miss out on all the FUN taking place this month as we celebrate the 25 Days of Christmas.  There's also a $100 give-away so don't forget to read everything on the Paper Sweeties Blog.  Thanks for stopping by today, and from all of us at Paper Sweeties - MERRY CHRISTMAS.  If you don't know quite what you want from Paper Sweeties, a Gift Certificate is always a great choice.  You'll absolutely LOVE all their sweet products.  Happy crafting, everyone.

I'm playing along here:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "PARTY" - Well, wherever you have a PARTY, you have GIFTS.  Wherever you have GIFTS, you have TAGS.  So, PARTY ON!

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "PARTY TIME" - As I mentioned above for SSS Wednesday Challenge, every good PARTY needs gifts, and every good gift needs a TAG.  So...there you go.  Also, when you put on your Winter mittens and go outside to play, that's always a good PARTY as well.

Dar & Diane's Double D Challenge Blog - Candy Canes - It took me a while to realize that the inspiration photo also included candy cane peppermint candy pieces (in the upper left corner) so I finally decided that it was ok for me to enter my peppermint candy tag.

Your Next Stamp - Challenge #194 - GIFTS:  I absolutely LOVE Your Next Stamp and I have mentioned to "Santa" that I'd love some new YNS stamps for Christmas.  We shall see what happens.....Santa.  I didn't use any YNS products on these tags.  I chose to make tags for the GIFTS Challenge because every GIFT needs a TAG.  I made lots of tags this Christmas so that each person would get a hand-made tag on their gift.  It's sorta part of the gift.

25 Days of Christmas w/Paper Sweeties

It's Day 14 in the annual 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties, and today I'm sharing some cards that were created using some of the (many) darling products from Paper Sweeties.  They carry so many adorable stamps, dies and goodies that you will absolutely SQUEAL with delight when you see them all.  If you don't quite know what to ask for this Christmas, a Gift Certificate from Paper Sweeties would be a real treat.
I often struggle to make "masculine or guy" cards.  This awesome truck is found in the fabulous Merry Christmas Y'all Stamp Set.  As you can see, this awesome stamp set can be used all year round....even at Christmas.  The sentiment can be found in the Blessed Stamp Set.  Here's a sample of the Merry Christmas Y'all Stamp Set being used on a Christmas themed card.  How CUTE is this?
All of the adorable stamps and sweet cuts (dies) from Paper Sweeties work well on their own, and when combined with other Paper Sweeties' stamps and cuts.  They're all just SO cute that you really can't go wrong.  This truck is among my (many) favorites for that reason.  You will love it as much as I do, I'm sure.  Be sure to stop by the Paper Sweeties Blog each day this month for all the wonderful inspiration.  Thanks for visiting me today.

Blessings,
Karen

As I've mentioned over the past several days, there are so many great bargains right now at Paper Sweeties; and these sale sets will soon be gone.  It's a great time to grab the You Better Not Pout Stamp Set.  It's one of my favorite Christmas sets because of its darling sentiments that I use over and over again.
The cover of this cute little paper bag album uses the DARLING Scalloped Rectangle Frames Sweet Cuts and they make the most adorable frames.  There are three different sizes in each Scalloped Frame Sweet Cut Set and they come in the rectangle shape, circle, oval and square.  They're darling and another very useful die-cut to have on hand.  The small holly/ivy can be found in the Sweet Mini: Home Stamp Set.

25 Days of Christmas w/ Paper Sweeties

Hello, dear blog friends and welcome by today.  It's already Day 8 in the 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties.  I always choose to post on this date (December 8) in this special event.  That's because, well, for one thing....I love Paper Sweeties AND also because this is a very special and memorable day for me.  On this date, 37 years ago, our precious identical twin boys, Nicholas and Benjamin, were born (stillborn).  While it was terribly difficult to go through (especially at such a young age), it's become a beautiful experience that has drawn me (my husband and others) even closer to God.  Every experience we go through, every valley we're asked to walk through, is an opportunity for God to bring us closer to Him.  PRASIE GOD, that's precisely what this tragic experience did for me.  It's my sincere prayer that when you go through life's valleys and trials that you, too, will draw close to God for the strength and hope you need.  He, in return, will draw close to you and give you the comfort and strength you need.  Those are promises straight from His precious holy Word - the Bible.
This COOL looking card is SO easy to make.  The reason I'm sharing this particular card is to show you how SIMPLE it is to create something delightful using products from Paper Sweeties.  This adorable stamp set is also on CLEARANCE at just $6 - what an incredible bargain.  It's called You Better Not Pout and it has some darling images, #believe and other super sweet sentiments.  This is a great time to pick up some bargains at Paper Sweeties before they're gone forever.  They're all just SO CUTE, and you won't want to miss the opportunity to grab them now.  You can find adorable Rectangle Scalloped Frames Sweet Cuts here, and they also come in Square Scalloped Frames, Circle Scalloped Frames and Oval Scalloped Frames.
To create this card, I used white watercolor paper and rubbed on several different colors of Oxide Inks to make that groovy background.  You can use any colors you choose, but I wanted to give it a retro tie-dye appearance.  As I mentioned, I used the You Better Not Pout Stamp Set to stamp that cute sentiment which is the focal point of the card.  I added several of Paper Sweeties' ADORABLE little flower or cup-shaped Sequins to create a shaker element.  These Sequins come in several sweet colors and are so different from any other Sequins I've ever encountered.  Darling!
I used the inked scraps from this card to make a matching gift tag.  I cut it from the leftover paper pieces using the For You Sweet Cuts (tag die).  The sentiment I used (Ho, Ho, Ho!) is also from the You Better Not Pout Stamp Set.  I added a length of Robin Egg Seam Binding to the top of the tag, and I attached more of the adorable Sequins to it.  I used the rest of the inked paper scraps to stamp and cut the gnome using the Build A Gnome Stamp Set.
There's lots of great inspiration every day in the 25 Days of Christmas at Paper Sweeties; so be sure to stop by the Paper Sweeties Blog for the links.  If you're not sure what to ask for this Christmas, a Gift Certificate to Paper Sweeties would be a great idea.  It's so easy and convenient, and then YOU can pick out something extra SWEET.  Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week.

I'm sharing my card in these FUN challenges:

Dare 2B Artzy Challenge - December: CAS (Clean and Simple) - As I mentioned in my first entry, if I'm being completely honest, I don't make much of anything that's truly "clean and simple" (LOL); but this card is very CAS (for me anyway).

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Add Some SPARKLE - I added lots of pretty sequins to make my shaker element that would SPARKLE; especially when the light hits those gorgeous sequins.

Paper Sweeties New Release Rewind

Hello, friends!  Thanks for stopping by again today as we wrap up the New Release at Paper Sweeties.  The new set this month is called Build A Snowman and it's a fun little set for Winter.  There's a Build A Snowman Stamp Set with the different parts of the snowman (three ovals, face, nose, hat, etc.) as well as the coordinating new Sweet Cuts (dies) for all these pieces.
I used black and white cardstock for my base and then some of Crate Paper's cute Bundled Up patterned papers.  I used one of those patterned papers and the Scalloped Square Sweet Cuts to create the square that I used for my sentiment.  The sentiment (NOEL) is found in the awesome Merry Stamp Set, and I rubbed some ink on the journaling square.  The small holly and ivy on the sentiment square is from the Holly Jolly Holiday Stamp Set.
I stamped the snowman using the new Build A Snowman Stamp Set, colored it a bit with my Copics, and cut the pieces with the Build A Snowman Sweet Cuts.  The snowman's hat was cut from wool felt, and I added some rusty jingle bells tied with red baker's twine.  I also attached a pretty bow that's tied with Frosting Seam Binding.  This particular shade of Seam Binding is no longer available at Paper Sweeties (sorry).  I cut his "stick arms" fee-hand from black cardstock.  Here are the links to my teammates' inspiration for today.

Thanks for stopping by, friends, and have a blessed week.

New Release Day at Paper Sweeties

Hurray!  It's New Release Day at Paper Sweeties, and that means you can now purchase the darling new Build A Snowman Stamp Set and coordinating Build A Snowman Sweet Cuts.  For my project today, I did something completely unexpected with these fun new products.  In fact, I didn't make a snowman at all.  I wanted to show you all some different ways to use the products from Paper Sweeties.
I used the new Build A Snowman Stamp Set to stamp the largest oval (base of the snowman) onto basic white cardstock.  I used the new Build A Snowman Sweet Cuts to cut that largest oval.  I colored the edges lightly with my Copics in an effort to make it look like a plate.  I used the Holly Jolly Holiday Stamp Set to create the "cookies" on the plate.  After all, we've gotta leave out some cookies for Santa, right?  #believe
The sentiment I used (#believe) can be found in the You Better Not Pout Stamp Set, and I stamped it onto a strip cut with the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts.  It's backed with patterned papers from Crate Paper's Bundled Up collection.  I added a bow that's tied with some inked cheesecloth and a length of Seam Binding.  I also attached a Red & White Chenille Candy Cane to my card.
Now, let's talk about those DELICIOUS cookies.  I used the circle tag found in the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts to cut my "cookies" from cardboard.  I inked them to make them look baked.  I used the All-Occasions Sweet Cuts to cut out the star and the heart; and I sprinkled glitter in between the cookie layers.  YUM!  You can use Paper Sweeties products in lots of creative and, sometimes, unexpected ways.  Just let your creativity run wild.  Here are the links to my teammates' creative projects for today's New Release.
Thanks again for visiting me.
Blessings,
Karen

Paper Sweeties New Release Sneak Peek

Today is our New Release Sneak Peek Day at Paper Sweeties.  This month's fun Wintery New Release is the adorable Build A Snowman Stamp Set and coordinating Sweet Cuts.  As a kid, I always enjoyed making a snowman with my friends.  Growing up in Northern Minnesota, there was never a lack of snow.  This FUN new Build A Snowman Stamp Set brings back all those happy memories.
I used black and white cardstocks for my base.  I used some pretty Crate Paper patterned papers - one for the base and another that I used to cut the large tag using the For You Sweet Cut.  I attached some pretty Robin Egg Seam Binding to the tag.  On top of that tag, you'll see a Starbucks gift card.  There's a pocket on the inside of my card for the gift card.
I used the new Build A Snowman Stamp Set and coordinating Sweet Cuts to cut all parts of the snowman.  All the pieces are cut from wool felt.  Paper Sweeties' cuts are high-quality steel dies that cut through pretty much everything.  I tied a Seam Binding bow for his scarf.
I used the Holly Jolly Holiday Stamp Set to cut the holly berries and ivy that I placed on the snowman's hat.  I used the Merry Stamp Set for the sentiment (SNOW) and I stamped that on a sticker.  There are lots of great stamps, cuts and goodies at Paper Sweeties that all work so nicely together or on their own.  Here's the list of direct links to my teammates' posts for today.

I'm linking my card here:

Caffeinated Coffee Lovers Challenge - Challenge #11 - Holly - I used a small Paper Sweeties ivy/holly berry image on the snowman's hat.

Thanks for stopping by.

#COFFEE

It's no secret that I'm a coffee lover.  I also enjoy making coffee cards; especially when I have super cute coffee products like these ones from Paper Sweeties.  I wasn't really planning on participating in the Coffee Blog Hops any more.  But since I'm sharing on behalf of Paper Sweeties and another Design Team I'm on that's sponsoring, I decided to put my feet back in the water (so to speak).  Coffee cards are always so FUN to make, and I always love a good excuse to pull out these sweet stamps.  There are LOTS of great prizes, as always, so come play along.  Hey, if I can find the time to make a few cards, you can do it too.
I used white cardstock and some pretty Crate Paper (Bundled Up) patterned papers.  The Paper Sweeties products I used include the For You Sweet Cuts (large tag), the Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts (small tag), the Stamp Set and Sweet Cuts (coffee mug, snowflake and candy canes), the Stamp Set (sentiment #coffee), and some cute Sequins.  I added some Pink Baker's Twine to the tags.
There's absolutely nothing fancy or tricky about this card.  It's super simple, but it shows you just how CUTE Paper Sweeties products are.  And here's some exciting news.  Paper Sweeties is offering a FUN Coffee-themed Prize valued at $25 as well as a SALE where you can save 25% off all in-stock coffee-themed products.
I hope you all have loads of FUN in the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop.  And if you need some really cute coffee stamps, be sure to stop by Paper Sweeties.  We always enjoy your visits to the Paper Sweeties Blog and the Paper Sweeties Shop.  Have a creative week.

I'm sharing my card here:

More Coffee, Please

I don't know about you, but I can never get enough coffee.  Whether it's a fancy latte the way I like it, a plain cup of black coffee, or a shot of espresso, I love it ALL.  This card combines several different elements from various craft companies I love.  And...it's all about the COFFEE.
I used black cardstock, a Carta Bella patterned paper purchased from Stamp Simply, a piece of corrugated cardboard, and white watercolor paper.  I inked up the white paper with Corduroy Oxide Ink and then stamped the messy background using a set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.
The ribbon is May Arts from Really Reasonable Ribbon, the sentiment is from Paper Sweeties, and the Doodlebug Doodle Pop Stickers were purchased from Paper Sweeties.  That's about it....really simple.  But it sure is making me crave another cup of coffee.  LOL

I'm sharing my coffee card here:
Fall/Winter Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Blog Hop - Anything Goes Coffee Related Fall/Winter

Double D Challenge Blog - Thankful, Grateful, Blessed - I am SO thankful, grateful and blessed by every good thing God has given me.  And YES, that includes my COFFEE.  I was inspired on this one by the coffee cup (bottom right corner of inspiration photo) for its colors, things inside the cup, and the warmth it brings.

Happy crafting,
Karen
