CRAFTY CALENDAR BLOG CANDY!

Over on Bubbly Funk there ia a gorgeous calendar just witing for you to download. You can download it month by month and there are some wonderful projects on each page!!!

Until 1st March there is BLOG CANDY up for grabs if you can make February's project and put it on the CRAFTY CALENDAR. Its a gorgeous card in a wallet designed by the very talented Kathy Black.

For the base I used Bazill Bling. The papers are from K&Co Life Journey (6x6) and the brass embellies (which I love) are We R Memory Keepers.

Ye Olde Bloggie Candy!!!!

I just cannot believe that I have reached 100 posts!!!! I really thought when I started blogging that it would be a once a month thing....how wrong was I??? It really has opened up a new world for me and I am now enjoying challenges so much. I have 'met' some wonderful, inspiring people along the way too.

So, as a BIG thank you to all those who have visited me and steeled yourselves to look at my stuff, I am giving away some BLOG CANDY. This will include Bazill Bling, DCWV Far East papers, ribbon, beads, cards & enveies and more!!! But, although I am not going to make it hard, there is a question to answer:

Way back in June last year I went somewhere and watched some little furry things, what were they???? mmmmm.....just can't believe what my makes were like then :(

p.s........OOOOPS!!!! just seen that the brilliant helicopter isn't on there...sorry muchly! Its one of those scratch off things that we used to have as kids. Will show it when I have had a play hee hee XXX

RECYCLING!!!

I really don't recycle as much as I should when it comes to craft. Over on Rosie's blog she is celebrating 1oooo hits and has set a Blog Candy challenge to do some recycling. It was a good oportunity to rummage in my ' will cover/alter someday' box...you know the one...I think we all have one don't we?

I used a small round brie container. I seem to have a few of these in my box. I had some vague idea to make them into a stack a while ago!

I used some of the goodies from the Bubbly Funk May Kit, which had some delicious stuff in by the way. I added a little tag, a cork flower and a little ladybird from my stash. Although you can't see it I lined the box with bright green felt so that the 'bits' would be easier to pick up.!

BLOG CANDY!

I am so thrilled that I won some blog candy!!! It was from the Bubbly Scrumptious Blog. This is only accessible for people who have bought kits from Bubbly Funk and the kits are really lovely folks. Anyone who made anything using the kit and uploaded it into the gallery was put into a draw. Here is what I won:

My maybe-future-son-in-law's name is also Jeremy, which can get very confusing when we are all together sometimes!!!! He is going to be the lowly age of 30 soon and my daughter has arranged a surprise party for him (its ok...he won't be looking at my blog....I hope) I have made a little book for everyone to sign, draw rude pics in or just put their squiggle (depends how the evening goes eh).

The colours are really more vibrant in reality. I can't tell you what the backing paper is as I had stuck it before checking the name....such a narna!!! But it is a lovely deep blue with purple & green swirls & soft words iykwim. I cut the letters out of scrap with my trusty Robo, added glossy accents and then used the Bind-It-All to make up the book. After burying myself in my stash I at last found a brad which says 'party' all over it....knew it was there somewhere LOL
