Toffee Fudge Cheesecake - Yummy!

It was my friend's birthday and to celebrate, she had a bar-b-que. It was a bit chilly, however, we managed to eat outside and then it started raining. Here is the cheesecake I made, thought I would share it with you.
 Toffee Fudge Cheesecake
 Ingredients
 Top
 450g Philadelphia cream cheese
 250g Toffee Fudge Coulis
 350g Whipped Cream
150g Icing Sugar

Base
280g Digestive Biscuits
100g Butter

Method -

Melt butter and crush biscuits. Combine the crushed biscuits and butter thoroughly.
Line the base of a 10-inch spring form tin and pack down lightly. Whip the cream cheese, sugar and toffee fudge coulis together and fold in cream. Pour mixture over biscuit and set in the fridge for a minimum of three hours. Serve with whipped or pouring cream if desired.

 Enjoy!

Thankyou Card

I have spent all afternoon in my newly fitted craftroom, apart from time for a cup of tea and a choccy biscuit. So after all my hard work, I decided to make a Thankyou card which I am going to send to Fiona's mum and dad for the lovely day we had on Saturday. The wedding was perfect. I used my favourite Tilda stamp and papers from BoBunny. My flower was from Marianne Design.
Please leave me a comment. I appreciate them all. Thankyou. Happy Crafting. Kathleen x

WOYWW - 25th May

No time to Craft - It's Wednesday again! And I havn't done any crafting this week except a few Craftrak cards. Not had any time. We were at my nephew's wedding on Saturday. We had a fabulous day, everything was perfect. Even the weather was perfect. We had champagne outside, photos were in the gardens, even the first dance was outside. We moved inside about 9 o'clock for the rest of the dancing. Finished at one, got home about two and couldn't get to sleep. Too excited! Tired out on Sunday! On Sunday we were at a bar-b-que at my daughter's house. Again, it was a lovely day. Hubby is on holiday this week, so I persuaded him to take me to IKEA - Yes! I was looking for some storage ideas. I spent a fortune, could have spent more, I could see him counting all the glass storage jars. Just the right size for all my ribbons. Managed to decide what shelving I wanted. Got one of those easel thingies to display my cards. I chose a rail with hooks for all my nesties. So, I am in the middle of sorting out my room, which is in such a mess at the moment. There is craft everywhere. This is my desk, I wont show you the floor, in fact you can't see the floor! You will get to see the finished result next week! Hubby is in the middle of building up the shelves. Yesterday, my local CHAS shop was having a craft sale. Was up early and down for it opening, managed to pick up a few goodies - all in a good cause. Busy afternoon buying bedding plants. This afternoon, hubby is away golfing, so I have a date with my craft room. If you are wondering what's going on, why not visit Julia's blog at The Stamping Ground. Thanks for all your comments. I'm away to have a nosey now! Happy Crafting Everybody!

I was at my craft class last week, made a beautiful Tilda Easel card, which you can see in my blog. Why not visit Julia's blog over at the Stamping Ground to see what's going on. Good evening all

Have just spent a pleasant day in our garden. I thought I may as well make the most of this lovely sunshine. It could be raining tomorrow. Walked down to school and picked up my grand-daughter. She didn't know I was coming so she got a lovely surprise! It's so lovely when you get a big hug! In complete contrast, I made another Christmas card this evening. Here's my latest creation - I'd like to enter it in the following challenges -
Winter Wonderland - See amid the Winter Snow
Susie and Vicki's Christmas Club - Stitching

Tilda Easel Card

This morning I was at a craft class and I made a Tilda Easel Card. This is the finished result. I am so pleased with it. Tilda is coloured using Polychromos coloured pencils. It's the first time I have used them and I was quite impressed. Colour lays down smooth and is easily blended for layered effects and highlights. I especially like the rabbit punch. I hope you like it too. Thanks for visiting. All comments are welcome! Happy crafting! Kathleen x

Son's birthday

This card I have made for my son whose birthday it is on Monday. He doesn't like alot of fuss, so I thought this one was quite plain. The stamp came in a pack with a golfer and a fisherman. ( I can't remember the name). The papers I got free with Making Cards. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking and any comments will be welcome. Kathleen x

WOYWW - 12 May 2010

Good Morning all. How is everybody today? It's a lovely morning here. I hope it stays. I am off shopping this afternoon, looking for a pair of shoes to wear to my nephew's wedding. Have had a busy week - my grand-daughter's dance show, mum coming to stay, my other grand-daughter's first birthday, a barbeque - brrr that was cold!
Well, what's on my desk this morning? Was making a wedding card last night for Charisma Cardz Challenge. Too tired to tidy up so this is what met me this morning! You can see the finished card in my last post. The paper I used was BoBunny. What's in the purple box - stamped images I have saved. I change my mind so many times. There are buttons of every size and colour in the patterned tin. On the wall I have photos of my grandchildren mounted onto old CD's. Their masterpieces are on the wall too!
I hope you all have a lovely day. Thankyou for popping in to have a snoop. I am off now to have a peek at everyone else.
Happy crafting! Kathleen xxx

So Cute

Another card for Romy, as it is her birthday on Monday. She is one year old. My son asked me to make her a card. I used pitter patter paper and mounted it on pink card. I used a Nellie Snellen stamp which I only got yesterday. She is so cute just ideal for a baby card. Finished with a little flower and ribbon! I hope you like my card. Thanks for dropping by. Just Magnolia Challenge

I have made this card and entered it in the Just Magnolia Challenge! We were provided with a sketch and had to include a Magnolia stamp. The papers are from Bo Bunny. It is a gorgeous pink. I used the cuttlebug for the square and oval shapes. I used the creatables by Mariane design (which I love) some white lace and pink ribbon. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking! What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday 48

Hi everyone. Another week has gone by already. Since last Wednesday, I have won my first challenge with Lothian Crafts. £15 to spend in their on-line shop. They arrived this morning. What a lovely surprise that was. Thankyou.
I have entered a few more challenges. The Cuttlebug Spot and Winter Wonderland. We had to make a gift card holder. You can see the finished card on top of my printer.
I am in the middle of a challenge with Just Magnolia, that's why my desk is sooo messy. Have just to decide which Tilda stamp to use. The blue daisies at the front of my desk are my favourite item just now. They are Creatables from Marianne Design. I have been using them alot recently.
Here are a few of my Craftrak card. I have them on display on top of my printer so I can enjoy them. They are so lovely. I have also started on my First Year Anniversary Challenge. What a good idea, thanks to Julia's blog at Stamping Ground. Check it out to see what is going on. Thanks for popping in.
Happy Crafting everybody. Have a good Wednesday!

Winter Wonderland Challenge

A Christmas Gift Card Holder This week we have been asked to create a christmas gift card holder. With so many people giving gift cards now, it was a good idea to make a lovely card to go with it! I got my inspiration from Claudia Rosa of Splitcoaststampers. I made a Diagonal Double Pocket Card. It was so easy with good clear instructions. I stamped a little robin, then inked with holly. I used my cuttlebug for the mounts. A little greeting and two tags with ribbon finished it off! Next, just pop in your gift card in the pocket! Check out Winter Wonderland blog for some lovely cards. Challenge ends next Thursday at 5pm. Thanks for looking. Happy Crafting! Kathleen x
