♥ Simon Says...Winter Birthday ♥

Happy Wednesday to you! We have a brand new challenge starting up at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's theme...Winter Birthday! And speaking of winter birthday's, mine is a week from today. So be on the look out for a giveaway from me soon!! ;)

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Lawn Fawn. I am using the super sweet Stitched Snowflakes Lawn Cuts Dies on my card. The set comes with 5 different sized snowflakes. I covered them all in lots of Diamond Dust Glitter and HA White Pearls.

The beautiful woodgrain background paper is from the Sea Breeze Paper Pad by KaiserCraft. I sprayed it with some Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Spray to give it a "snowy" look.

I finished it off with some May Arts Natural Twine and some lace trim.

♥ Snow many snowflakes ♥ {SSS January 2015 Card Kit}

Hi there everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas! We had a lovely day here! I can't believe in a few days it will be 2015! What are your New Year's Eve plans? Any resolutions? I never usually have a resolution but I do have a couple this year though! And I hope to be able to fulfill them!!

Have you seen the Simon Says Stamp January 2015 Card Kit, Winter Wonderland? OMG! Love it! Love the colors, papers and that stamp set!! It goes along perfectly with the Alexis and Abby Snowflake dies!!

♥ Simon Says...Winter Inspiration ♥

Happy 1 week before Christmas Eve! And happy it's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!! This week's challenge is...Winter Inspiration! Snowflakes, snowy scenes, icicles, etc!

We have a beautiful and inspiring "Mood Board" for you created by our fabulous teammie Jenn!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Penny Black. I used the Crystal Trio Die Set. Such pretty snowflakes! I drenched them in White Glitter and some Stampendous Shaved Ice. I added some White Opal Liquid Pearls to the centers.

I wanted to give the Wood grain paper, from the Bo Bunny Christmas Collage Paper Pack, an icy feel to it. So I added a thick layer of Glossy Accents along the edges and then some more White Glitter. I finished it off with some Simon Says Stamp Moonshine Sequins and sentiment from an old stamp set called Frosty Sentiments by Amy R Stamps.

♥ Frosty Fun ♥

Hi there! Sorry for my absence lately. I had the yucky flu. :(  I still feel kind of bad but better than last week that's for sure. Boy, it really got me good! I was scheduled to get my flu shot last week, go figure! And on top of the flu, I got Pink Eye and Acid Reflux!! I know I will be 42 next month, but really?! I feel like I'm falling apart at the seams! hehe Oh, well, on to my card...

Today starts a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's theme is called "Let it Snow"! It's all about snowflakes, snowman, snowy scenes, etc.

For my card, I used papers from both the Glistening 6x6 Paper Pad by Authentique and the music paper is from the Merry Little Christmas Paper Pad by Fancy Pants Designs. I love the Spellbinders Venetian Motifs Dies. They remind me of a big snowflake and blowing snow!

I also used the Kate Snowflake Die exclusively by Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is from the Frosty Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C.Designs. I finished it off with lots of White Glitter, twine and Pearls.
