Heute ist es wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Stamapvie & more. Das Thema lautet diesmal

"rot".

Today it's time for a new challenge over at Stampavie & more. The theme this time is

"red".

Ich habe mich nochmal zu einer Weihnachtskarte hinreißen lassen. Rot ist für mich einfach eine typische Weihnachtsfarbe.

I went into rapture to make a Christmas card again. Red is simply a typical Christmas colour for me.

Diesmal ist meine Karte nicht quadratisch, sondern ich habe die Karte mit Spellbinders Label 8 gestanzt.

This time my card is not square but I punched it out with Spellbinders Label 8.

*~ Hanna & Friends - Challenge 123 - Winterkarte / wintercard ~*

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Als erstes möchte ich mich bei euch für eure lieben Genesungswünsche bedanken. Das Schlimmste habe ich überstanden - hach, war das nervig! Ich bin so gar nicht der Typ, der die ganze Zeit auf dem Sofa 'rumliegt und nix tut ...

First of all I would like to thank you for your lovely get-well wishes. I came through the worst - so annoying! I'm not the one who stays on the sofa the whole day and doesn't do anything ...

Aber genug gejammert!!!

Pünktlich zur neuen Challenge bei Hanna & Friends konnte ich dann wieder eine Karte werkeln. Das Thema lautet diesmal

"Winterkarte".

Und das ist sie:

Right on time for the new challenge at Hanna & Friends I was able to create a card again. The theme is

"winter card".

And here it is:

Ja, ja, ich muß gestehen, dass meine Karte abgekupfert ist, zumindest was die Farben angeht. Nicolchen hatte vor einiger Zeit eine ähnliche Karte gezeigt. Ich war so begeistert von der Farbgebung, dass ich  auf jeden Fall auch eine Karte in dieser Art machen wollte.

OK, I have to admit that my card is cribbed, at least concerning the colours. Nicolchen showed a similar card some time ago. I was so delighted with the colours that I decided to create a card of this type, too.

Den Sketch von Nightshiftstamping fand' ich für eine Karte so ungewöhnlich, den mußte ich sofort umsetzen.

The sketch of Nightshiftstamping is so unusual for a card, I had to follow it immediately.

Herausgekommen ist eine sehr schnelle und sehr einfache Karte. Aber mir gefällt sie ...

The result is a very fast and very simple card. But I like it ...

Ich brauchte ein längliches, aber schmales Motiv. "Sophie" von Mo's Digital Pencil schien mir perfekt.

I needed a longish but slim image. "Sophie" by Mo's Digital Pencil seemed to be perfect.

Ich hatte einen Auftrag für eine Karte zum 50. Geburtstag eines Feuerwehrmannes. Da kam mir der Sketch wie gerufen.

I had the mission to create a card for the 50th birthday of a firefighter. So the sketch came along just at the right time.

Als Motiv habe ich "Playing Firefighter" von Mo's Digital Pencil ausgewählt.

Das Motiv ist von Mo's Digital Pencil und auch nicht unbedingt ein Weihnachtsmotiv. Aber ich habe eine ähnliche Karte vor einigen Tagen im Web gesehen und war total begeistert. Also mußte ich es auch ausprobieren.

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Sowohl bei BaLiSa als auch bei Cutie-Stampers beginnt heute eine neue Challenge. Bei BaLiSa heißt es

"Pimp etwas"

und bei Cutie-Stampers 

"Alles geht".

 Ich habe beide Challenges in einem DT-Werk zusammengefaßt.Schaut mal:

At BaLiSa as well as at Cutie-Stampers a new challenge is starting today. At BaLiSa it is called

"Pimp something"

and at Cutie-Stampers

"Anything goes".

I have combined both challenges in one DT-creation. Look here:

Eine liebe Freundin von mir liebt Schokoküsse über alles. Deshalb bekommt sie von mir zum Geburtstag zusätzlich zum eigentlichen Geschenk eine Packung ihrer Lieblingsnascherei - natürlich nicht einfach nur so, sondern ein wenig aufgehübscht. Wer will denn schon so eine simple Verpackung verschenken ...?

A lovely girlfriend of mine loves these sweets soooo much. That's the reason why she gets some of her favourite sweets to her birhtday, in adition to  another present. But I had to pimp it, because who wants to give away such a simple box ...?

Also habe ich zu Papier, Schere und Klebe gegriffen und die Schachtel gepimpt. Und so sieht sie jetzt aus:

So I got paper, scissors and glue and pimped the box. This is what it looks like now:

Sieht doch gleich viel ansprechender aus, oder ...?

This looks more attractive, doesn't it ...?

Das Motiv fand ich einfach super passend. Meine Freundin wird zwar erst 45 und sieht ganz bestimmt nicht so aus, wie diese alte Dame , aber sie ist immer für einen Spaß zu haben und wird es sicherlich richtig verstehen.

 I think this image fits perfectly. My girlfriend celebrates her 45. birthday and really doesn't look like this old lady, but she's always up for a joke and I'm sure, she will understand it the right way.

Meine Box möchte ich noch bei Stamps + Fun = Creativity einreichen. Denn auch dort heißt es in dieser Woche "Pimp a thing". Außerdem sind da noch die Challenges bei A Spoon full of Sugar ("Punkte & Streifen"), Mo's Digital Pencil ("altered item") und Night Shift Stamping ("Geschenkverpackung").

I would like to enter my box to Stamps + Fun = Creativity because they have the theme "pimp a thing", too. Futhermore there are the challenges from A Spoon full of Sugar ("spots & stripes"), Mo's Digital Pencil ("altered item") and Night Shift Stamping ("gift wrap").
