Wrestling is over.....

(sorry no pics...couldn't see ANYTHING)

We went over to Cedar on Saturday for Broc's State Wrestling tournament. It was CRAZY! It was so crowded and Brayden wasn't cooperating...so it was a little chaotic! Broc's first match he started out strong.....he went into the end of his 2nd round of the match and ended up getting pinned. His second match...he was a little fired up. He went four rounds and fought his hardest. He ended up losing by points in the last round. We are just so proud of Broc for always trying his hardest! He didn't always love the practices, but he stuck with it and never complained!

So we ended the wrestling year with Broc's choice of lunch at Burger King (mmm...)!

Spring Break??!!

We decided to take our Spring Break days off and use them to go up and see my Dad and then head up to Idaho to see the rest of our family! It has been over two years since we had seen them all. It's always so good to see them and visit! Jed went up to Island Park on Saturday with my cousin's hubby and my uncle to ride snow mobiles all day! He had a blast! The rest of the weekend was filled with good food and even better company! I am really slacking on the picture taking, b/c all I took pictures of was the first night when the boys talked Grandma Julie into a bath in their huge jetted tub. Brayden loved the bubbles, but freaked out when they turned on the jets! We had our first BBQ of the season and it was so yummy! Then they settled into their cozy little bed made especially for them....

Backyard baseball game

The other night we had a window of real Spring weather before it turned cold and yucky again. We took the oppurtunity to play a little backyard baseball. Terron and Jed started it by playing a little catch and it turned into a ball game.....well me and Sara batting with the Broc's t-ball bat! I love nights like this!

60 Degrees and loving it....

There was actually one or two nice days last week.....and it felt so good to sit outside and let the boys run around and ride their bikes. It really reminds you how long you have been cooped up in the house all Winter. I don't know if it was actually 60 degress because of course it was windy, but not too bad! The boys went nuts!

Wrestling in Enterprise

I don't know what happens to me at these things, but I get so into the wrestling match....I don't even care about taking pictures...until I get home and realize I have none. I did video the first match....and left the camera on....so the next match the video camera was dead. Broc did really well. The first match was quick and painful....he got pinned right off the bat and couldn't get out of it. The 2nd match he fought a little harder and he ended up pinning his opponent. The 3rd match was a long match.....they ended up with a tie and it went into overtime...the frist one who gets a point wins and Broc lost that one in OT.....they work so hard it's sad when they lose after all that. Grandpa Rick was able to come up and watch Broc wrestle! It was a fun day!

Wrestling: Week 2

We headed to Beaver EARLY...too early Saturday morning. Broc's second wrestling tournament. It has been so much fun to see him improve each time. He pinned his first opponent! YAY! It's so exciting to watch him. I never thought I'd be the Mom down on the mat yelling "pin him" or "get him"...I mean they are only 5 years old...it's kinda sad! But, the best part is that Broc is having fun and loves getting the medals!

We are so proud of you Broc!
