LOTV Stamp Giveaway

Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I know I am. Yesterday afternoon, I went to see The Gruffalo with Wee Steven and although he finds it VERY difficult to sit still for more than five minutes at a time and the man in front was giving us some funny looks, we still thoroughly enjoyed it and are so looking forward to next month when we can see The Gruffalo's Child. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I am also taking Jack with me next time because it is aimed at the whole family and was hilarious.

Then this afternoon, I was off to the cinema with my niece to see Alpha and Omega. Another lovely afternoon and another great watch.

Oh, and to top it all off, I switched the radio on this morning and there was a competition going on...yep, I won a family pass (6) to take the boat cruise to Santa's Secret Village at the Falkirk Wheel. I did say I was having a good weekend, lol

So, I thought it was a good time to share some of my happiness, lol. I bought this stamp at the SECC a couple of weeks ago and didn't realise that my sister had also bought it for me as a wee gift so...I thought I would give it away as a mini candy on here. I will also include some stamped images, a bit of ribbon and a few Christmas papers too. (I will get a photo up tomorrow or Monday).

Sketch Saturday Surprise Candy Bag Prize

Hi everyone! Hope you are all well. Tonight, I wanted to post about the wonderful surprise candy I won over on Mariska's blog last week. To celebrate Sketch Saturdays Birthday, each member of the DT was giving away a surprise candy and I was one of the very lucky winners.
This morning, well - afternoon by the time our postie gets here, talk about snail mail, lol! - the parcel arrived. I quickly tore it open and I was absolutely delighted!! This was a truly gorgeous gift to receive and I just had to show it off to you all!

Now, this was made by Mariska and if you go and visit her blog then you will see the wonderful things she makes and please believe me when I say that they are even more lovely IRL than they are in the pics. And, as if this wasn't enough...wait till you see the gorgeous goodies that were inside...

WHIFF OF JOY STAMP RELEASE

About time too! I have had a look in my stash and I have come up with a few bits and pieces to say thank you for stopping by and looking at my work. So, I have put together two small parcels.

The first contains:

a selection of 6x6 papers (- lilac/turquoise, dark browns and orangeish, bright florals;
1x pack of pattern stickers - which can be embroidered or beaded - by Fancy Work;
1x pack of metal index tabs (family & friends) by Making Memories.
1x box of Berol black & white oil pastels;
1x box of Berol metallic oil pastels;
1x box of Berol flesh tones oil pastels:
10x stamped images (same as 2nd lot, lol)!


The second contains:
2x 6x6 paper packs from Papercraft for you in pink and blue;
Selection of stamped images - 2x Sarah Kay 'First Kiss', 2x Sugar Nellie/Elisabeth Bell 'Picking Apples', 2x WOJ 'Oakley on Scooter', 2x WOJ 'Willow with Umberella', 2x Forever Friends bear with Cake, 2x Forever Friends Bear with Present

NOW, what do you have to do to enter? I love to take a look at everyone else's work! It is very inspiring but also, sometimes, I see a beautiful card that someone has created and it cheers me up. It is really nice to read all the encouraging comments that are left on all the blogs too.
Anyway, to be in with the chance of winning you must:

1.) Post a link on your blog to tell about my candy;
2.) Leave a coment under this post with a link to your blog (so I can check that you are sharing the candy, lol!) and;
3.) Put in a link to your favourite blog (so I can stop by and see where you get your inspiration
inspiration from).

WHAT A WEEKEND

Have bought lots of lovely goodies recently and not managed to make anything. On Friday night, my daughter was in shower when it went freezing cold... Boiler had decided to pack in. Not to worry, it was only -2 outside. Finally got a plumber on Saturday morning after some phoning around. What happened to wanting to earn money??? He said it needs a new part... will arrive on Monday or Tuesday!! Wonderful- we'll just freeze in the meantime! Plumber phones at lunch on Tues and says he will come in afternoon. Five hours later, he phones again to say he's not managed to pick up the part and the merchant is now closed. He will come first thing in the morning. Ha!! It's now 11.15 and we are still sitting with scarves and gloves on in front of the fire. (Thank goodness for gas fires, ehh). On top of the house being freezing and having to go visit my mum to have showers, both boys have came down with viral infections over the weekend! Could things get any worse?!! Oh Yes!! I managed to smash the inside pane of my sitting room window last night whilst fixing the curtain pole! Had to phone a glazier out at 11.30 at night so it was 3 am before I got to bed only to have to fight with my youngest for some covers for 4 hours then get back up to put fire on for them all getting up!!!
Such a boring post but at least I have had a moan and feel slightly better! I suppose 'Things Can Only Get Better' lol!!!!

Hopefully I will get some crafting done today and that will cheer me up.
