Hubby's Anniversary Card

It’s our 34th Anniversary today.  Seems like just yesterday, when we said our “I Do’s”.  J

Here’s the card I made for my sweet hubster:-

Inside:-

Tools/Items:-
Cricut Imagine
Cricut Imagine Cartridge – Lori’s Garden
Cardstock -- white (for the Imagine)
Glue – ATG
Corner Punch
EK Punch – Real Estate
K&Company -- Glitter stickers
Pop Dots

Love the Imagine Lori’s Garden cartridge.  It has so many pretty designs on it so I knew I just had to use it for my Anniversary card.

Utilized the stock images on the Cricut Imagine, using the rounded square.  Cut it at 5” and floodfilled it w/ a solid green colour.  The patterned layer is the green floral found on p. 37 of the handbook.

The “Love You” layer is found on p. 22 of the handbook.  Pop-dotted both the layer and flower layer.

Added glitter butterfly and flower stickers.

The inside of the card is the frame found on p. 33 of the handbook.

The sentiment was computer-generated and punched out w/ the Real Estate punch.

Corner-rounded the corners of the card.

Happy Anniversary Card

It’s our anniversary today ---- 33 years. Wow! It seems like only yesterday that I fell head-over-heels for the love of my life. Happy Anniversary, Sweetheart! J
I made him this card:-

Close-up:-

Don't forget that you can click on the pix to enlarge them. :-)
Tools/Items:-

Cricut Imagine
Cricut Imagine Cartridges – see below
Cricut Cartridges – see below
Glue – regular;
ATG; Zig Two Way; glue gun (for the rosette)
Cardstock – double-sided for the card base; white (for the Imagine)
Patterned Paper
Bead – Blue
Paper Rosette
Popdots

Cricut Imagine Cartridges
Enjoy the Seasons – male and female hearts, and layers
Better Together – You Make my Heart Sing; Heart and layers

Cricut Cartridges
Beyond Birthdays – Happy Anniversary
Lyrical Letters – Sweetheart

Made my very first paper “rosette”, as a flower on the patterned paper. The swirls resembled a stem, so plunked a rosette flower on top.
J
I just love playing w/ my Imagine. I took the two sentiments from regular Cricut carts. and floodfilled them w/ a pattern from the Imagine cart, “Enjoy the Seasons”. All of the colours and patterns co-ordinate w/ the already-made designs, so it makes creating a card very easy-peasey.
The paper rosette was made using patterned paper. There are many tut’s on the Web, but here’s one that I really liked. It has very detailed instructions/pix.

25th Anniversary Card

How exciting to have an Anniversary on today's date:- 10-10-10. Well, my in-laws have exactly that --- it's their 25th Anniversary. :-)

Here's the card I made for them:-

Instead of it being a "pop-up", I call this a "pop-out" card, as the middle folds/pops out:-

You can see the "pop-out" a li'l bit better here:-

RECIPE:-

Tools/Items:-
Cricut Expression
Cricut Design Studio
Cricut Cartridges (see below)
Martha Stewart border punch – Loopy Loop & Heart Lace
Martha Stewart Score Board
Glue (regular, ATG, & Zig Two-Way for small items)
Cardstock
Patterned Paper
Pearls (on “L” for Love)
Background paper – computer generated
Sentiments – computer-generated
Chipboard letters – LOVE
Jolee’s Boutique – doves & olive branch
Flower – for front of envie
Stampin’ Up Ink – Really Rust (for inking around edges of sentiment)

Cricut Cartridges used:-
George & Basic Shapes – card base & heart cut-out
Hannah Montana – heart & layer

I designed this card in Cricut Design Studio. The dimensions of the card and inset are as follows:-

* Base:- 8.5” x 11”
* Inset:- 8.35” x 11.25”

The base scores at 5 ½” and the inside heart inset scores at 2 ¾” from each edge (vertically) and the center fold is right down the middle of the heart. The inset glues in just off the edges of the base.

I created the “CooCooLoveNest,” saying, on the computer, using it on the front of the card and inside the heart inset.

Anniversary Card

It’s our 32nd anniversary today. It's been 32 lonnnnnnng years. Just kiddin'. :-) My sweet hubby (next to my daughter) is the best thing/person that has ever come into my life. This is what my Sweetheart gave me:-

Can you spot the two li'l ladybugs on the flowerpot? Cute, eh? :-)

Here’s the card I made for him:-

You can click on the pix to see larger images. :-)

RECIPE:-

Tools/Items:-
Cricut Expression
Cricut Design Studio
Cricut
Cartridges (see below)
Martha Stewart punch – Quilted border; Ladybug
Glue (regular, Glue Glider Pro & Zig Two-Way for small items)
Corner Rounder
Patterned Paper
Cardstock
Stickles – Candy Cane, Gold
Popdots
Googly eyes
Seed beads

Cricut Cartridges used:-
Paisley – frog prince; shadow; eyes; belly; crown
Sweethearts – Happy Anniversary; Sweetheart; You & Me; xoxo’s

Because my hubby is my “Prince”, it only seemed natural to choose the “Frog Prince” from the "Paisley" cartridge, for his card. Because I’m his “Ladybug”, I’m sitting on top of him. Hence, “You & Me”. :-) I stickled both the crown and myself (Ladybug). :-)

Used the MS “Quilted” border punch for the inside of the card. The card base is 6” x 9”. I’ve included a cut file, for anyone who is interested.
