who loves birthdays???? and why

well i am the big 36 years old on the 25th feb, and wow time sure goes by sooooo fast
i love birthdays and all that their about, and yes often im known to have a long
2-3 weeks of celebrations {how bout you????}

its funny we make a big deal about our children, nieces and nephews about how its a celebration and
we do the big count wow your  4 now etc........

to be honest that still hasn't changed for me, yes its not the same as when i was a child, i get excited but that giddy cant sleep isnt there like it used to, but i still see it as an amazing celebration and am
constantly thankful and reflect on the year past and i love being around loads of people and {ok i'll admit it} it is kinda nice when people make a fuss about little old ME!!!!!!!!

a big thankyou to everyone who made it wonderful with all the messages, txt, phone calls and the
lovely cards and gifts, you all made me feel so so valued

i had some lovely girls in my world org a day out i got my nails done, pedicure, lovely lunch at the portsea hotel, wonderful chats and got driven around the peninsula, followed by dinner at the epicurean, it was delish and if you haven't been you need to go thanks guys xx

then my brother and sis in law kate with the kids arrived from nz to live, so we org a welcome to australia lunch + birthday for tompo {friend} and myself so of course it was packed with loads of kiwis and some lovely friends, low key and ended up at the beach {perfect}

and on my actual birthday my lovely boys took me shopping and mumma now owns something from tiffanys fun fun, the service was amazing.........

i've truely had the best christmas and new years, and loved being on the peninula this year and taking the time to relax and catch up with friends..........some of what we did

ararat with the chalmers family {the best time ever} opened their home to the crazy kiwis and shared their christmas

day at the kneen's in the pool {always fun hanging}
the best dinner date at the cahill's {so so delish}
day at the beach with greg {eating doc pizza, yumm}
new years with elissa and her wonderful family {best new years i've had in years}
movie day at chaddy with greg
fish n chips at the beach with group of friends watching the kids swim/sun on our backs {bliss}
loads of dvd watching in front of the aircon unit {god bless the person who invented aircon}
christmas carols in mt martha
day trip to flinders with lissie {funnest day}
tempura night with elissa, melissa and kids yum yum
loads of beach trips and bobbing up and down in the water
visited the red hill kitchen {thanks lissie} yumm yumm
didn't do any blogging
enjoyed wine, cheese and all the yummy food you can think of
and again the list could go on an on, and have prob forgotten some things

i'm not into new years resolutions but one thing i want to do more of this year is CAMPING!!!!!!!!

what a week phew + our new neighborhood

wow what a week......thank you all so much for your lovely comments, feeling much better and yes i did get around to having a glass of bubbles......
well as fast as the house sold, we are on the move, how good does the picture above look???? this is our new neighborhood, we will be renting for a while and investigate what we will do next either a reno or building again......

i can't wait to stroll down the beach, our new rental is a 5 min walk from the beach yay....
a very dear friend introduced us to mornington about 5 years ago and we loved it, i'm also looking forward to siffting through all the opp shops she's taken me to and the winery's oh yes loads and loads of winery's.....
so we move in 2 and a half weeks, and downsizing dramatically, so i'm ebaying like crazy and being ruthless, it's quite invigorating, hope you are all having a great week i've been missing blogging of late and yes you will see me again this week
