I once saw The Manchurian Candidate when it was shown at the Parkway Theater here in Minneapolis. My companion for the evening was shocked at the laughter of some members of the audience at the ending of the film.

Pinball is not a spectator sport and if I were riding in the back seat of a Cadillac with Ann-Margaret wrapped around me I would smile like an idiot too.
