For Car fans......

Today I've made a couple of male cards, or at least simple cards for car lovers...

I do like a a sentiment embossed in white on black card.....and the black enamel dots...
my other half has a shirt like that paper....
Below a vintage model, the layout is based on a design by Kim Fee.

Have a relaxing day...

Going Places

A good guy one for a good guy

The paper is from a stack called Going Places,
it coordinates with a stamp set Going Global.
However, here I paired it with Guy Greetings.

I die-cut the label, and decoupaged some of the car parts.
I even managed to write the recipients name on the number plate.

I die-cut a smaller label to write on
(it's hidden behind the topper)
as I didn't want to cover the lovely paper.

Hope you go somewhere nice today

Happy Card Making Day!

Another Jenny Moors case
I love her clean lines,
perfect for the men in our lives.

The sentiment could be for retirement, fathers day,
or just appreciation for all they do! ;)

Have a great weekend

Suits you Sir!

This was a Jenny Moors class project

Such fun making a shirt, collar, tie, waistcoat, and jacket, adorned with buttons

Love the inside panels too, makes it very classy don't you think?!

Hats off!

Another version of a Jenny Moors card

I love the clean crisp design.
Some of the hats are decoupaged and raised on foam pads.

A fun insert too!

Classic Car

I bought a card class from Jenny Moors,
and I can highly recommend them.

I love this men's set, and really enjoyed following the layout.
The instructions were very detailed, which made it a pleasure to do,
especially when you are busy/tired/brain dead/mojo-less!

I decoupaged the front of the car, tho hard to see....

Garden Guy

For an Uncle who has a lovely garden,
started as part of a berry basket, with some of those garden labels
and a photocopy of a pack of seeds,
(I know, should have at least bought him a real pack,
but just didn't have time!)

This was the state of my desk.....
lots of discarded ideas, bet you know that feeling?!

I used From the Garden, Gift from the Garden, Guy Greetings.

Guy Greetings

I needed a quick and easy card for a lovely man......
so got out my Guy Greetings, a fab choice for men's cards

And chose this simple 'classic' car image.
Trouble was, I splattered some tiny dots of ink accidentally.
So, had to get out Gorgeous Grunge and make some proper splats!

All done in coordinating ink, and continued the theme inside too.

Made a matching envelope with the new envelope paper.

Hope your week is going well,
it'll soon be Friday!
