There is also the chance of one lucky person winning the main prize, all details about this can be seen on the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

For my Special Birthday card I have made a card for my friend to give to her Mum for her 70th Birthday. I have used a Paper Shelter image called Regina.
I used papers from Bo Bunny Collection called A gift of life and die cut some feathers from the papers to tie all the colours and patterns together. I used a Lawn Fawn cloud edge die which I used on the black card and also the white pearl base card. The letters and numbers are thickers from American Crafts and I used a few co-ordinating enamel dots along with some silver pen to add details and make it extra special!

I used these promarkers  and flexmarkers to colour Regina -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair, Boots & Cain - Warm Greys.
Skirt - Oasis, Turquoise & Marine
Jacket & Hat - Wild Orchid, Purple Velvet & Plum
Feathers & lining  - Lime Zest, Lime Green & Pear Green.
Finally I edged it all with Soft lime.

Ok - now its time for you to hop on over to Lena's Blog. But remember to leave a comment below before you jump away for your chance to win the digi's.

Flutterby

Hello - It's time to showcase the week two creations for I love Promarkers. The theme this week is Bingo and the Sponsor is Stitchy Bear.
I have used an image called Flutterby from Stitchy Bear Digi images.

I have used Ribbon, Sentiment & Flower but thrown in a few pearls for extra measure!

I covered the base with Bo Bunny paper called Persuasion My Sweet - I decided to use a round card base so it could rock and have some movement. I added some thin Ribbon from my stash and a greeting from Craftwork Cards. I coloured the bird with promarkers and added some pearls in a swirly pattern. I used Star Dust stickles on the bird to make it shine and shimmery.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the Flutterby -
Pastel green, Frosted Jade & Turquoise.
Bluebell & Wild orchid,
Sky blue, Azure, True Blue & Prussian.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges -
2crafty girls - ATG with Pearls.

Northern Lights Polar Bear

Morning - Today's card I have made using an image from Tiddly Inks called Winterlight Wishes.

I have made a card similar to this recently with this  Bo Bunny background paper which reminded me of the Northern Lights so was perfect for this image!

The card is a pre-cut Filigree base from Docrafts called the 12 Days of Christmas. I glued the Bo bunny background paper behind base. I attached the coloured image to the base and glue some co-ordinated ribbon across the bottom. I used peel off letters to spell out Mummy and a peel off boarder to shape around the centre which says Merry Christmas. I added loads of bling using gems in the middle of the snowflakes and stickles around the Polar bear to shimmer like Ice.

I used these promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour the image -
Bear - Frozen Lake & Pastel Blue
Skin - Coral, Soft peach, Blush, Antique white & Baby Pink.
Hair & Fox- Raw Sienna & Chestnut with white pen tips.
Hat - Pale Citrus, Lime Zest & Lime green
Coat - Blue Pearl & Bluebell
Boots - Aquamarine & Oasis.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Tiddly Inks - holly & jolly
A gem of a challenge - Christmas
Crafty Calendar - Let it snow

Rescue Squad.

Morning!
Sorry I'm a little late posting today - we got a visit from our Godchildren last night so I didn't get chance to get all finished up! (They know me too well and came bearing chocolate & wine - well trained for 3 & 5 yrs old!!)

So without further a do... here is my card using Rescue Squad.

I kept it all Cool using blues and whites as its a fab image to use for all those difficult men in your life! I stayed with the manly theme and added the Kraft and brown but couldn't resist a few gems and a bit of sparkle.

The background paper is from Bo Bunny - Powder mountain collection. I mounted the image and paper on Blue bazzill card to make them pop out.  I stamped a greeting from My Favourite things called Toasty Greetings. I mounted that onto a little gold and added a few gems here and there. I glued a die cut icicle edge to the top of the card and a couple of die cut dangling snowflakes with gem centres for some more sparkle. Finally I tied some Doodlebug winter ribbon around the image panel and used a gold pen to add some metallic details to his zip and the tap.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Dog - Light Fawn, Raw Sienna,Chestnut & Walnut.
Barrel - Tan, Chestnut & Cocoa.
Nose - Coral, Soft Peach, Blush & Antique white.
Coat - Frozen Lake, Pastel blue & Egyptian Blue trim.
Boots & gloves - Cool grey 2.
Handles & straps - Cool grey 4 & 5

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Everyone is so busy this time of year so I won't keep you any longer - I know I still have a raft of cards to make (Especially for my family who always seem to get left till last!)
The weather is a bit grizzly so it the perfect excuse to no stray away from my desk... who knows I may even train my dog to bring me a little glass of sherry to keep me going!!

Have a lovely day

Little Skater

There is a new challenge over at I love Promarkers and the theme this week is Winter. - A really easy theme at this time of year - so I expect you all to join in!!
I loved colouring up this image from All dressed up called Little Skater.  Think I am slightly obsessed with these images at the minute!!

I actually forgot I had these lovely Filigree card bases from DoCrafts which I bought from Hobbycraft. I glued some Bo Bunny paper  from the Winter Joy collection behind the cut away card and used the colours in the paper to match up the promarkers. I die cut the image using my Friskars circle cutter and mounted it on to silver Mirri card. I used some star dust stickles to make her skirt and the ground shimmer a little, along with some gems stuck into the middle of the snowflakes. Finally I added a round Craftwork Cards Christmas greeting and a small Snowflake which was die cut from the silver mirri card using a die from My Favourite things

I used these Promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the Little Skater -
Ear Muffs & Skirt - Blue pearl & Bluebell
Scarf - Aquamarine & Oasis
Jumper - Pale Citrus, Lime Zest & Pear Green.
Hair - Satin, Terracotta, Burnt Sienna & Walnut.
Skin - Spice, Coral, Soft Peach, Blush & Antique white - Baby pink cheeks.
Ground - Powder Blue.
