Vicky's Kids

Hello -
today sees our latest release at All Dressed Up stamps. We are so lucky to have so much talent on the design team but Wendy who owns and draws this fab images is so generous that she even tackles our custom requests!! This image called Billy Goat Wendy created after I told her my sister had got some miniture goats and Id love a Goat image I could use for her upcoming birthday card!! Wendy produced this beauty!!!!
How many people can say they got the birthday card image drawn especially with them in mind??

I coloured the image with copics and added some texture fur to the Goat with prismacolour pencils. I die cut the image with a lawn fawn circle die and added a stamped greeting and some foam letters. Finally I added some die cut flowers and a gem.

These are my Sisters goats... they join the two sheep and have recently also been joined with two Donkeys!!

So thats all from me - have a great weekend,

Hot Videogame Vince.

Morning - I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather ... I admit I love the heat and Sunshine but also the shade. I wonder how many people have been sitting around in the house in the evening with just there pants and underwear just like Videogame Vince - although I think his atire is more due to laziness than weather. I doubt he has even opened his curtains to see the daylight!

The image is from Dr digi and I coloured him with Copic pens but used Prismacolour pencils on the chair. I die cut the image using My Favourite things dies and also the patterned papers which hold the fold open. I added some emanel dots and a greeting from Craftworks card to finish off the card and did it all on a manly Kraft card base!

I hope you like him and have a lovely Sunday - however you choose to spent it!

Some Bunny Loves You.

Hello -  Hopping by to show you my latest card for Dr Digi using the Cuddly Critters again. This one is called Rabbit. I'm trying to practice my fur colouring as its a bit of a sticking point for me so I coloured this little chap up with Prismacolor pencils on a Kraft card base. I also treated myself to a new white pen and wow - its brilliant!!
I thought would add a cute little sentiment and then I could use this as Valentines card... wonder who will be the (un)lucky recipient???

I used Echo Park Dot and Stripes collection paper and just cut little flags. And Lawn Fawn Harolds ABC to stamp the greeting.
My new with pen added the dots in his eyes, nose and a little on his teeth. The pen is a 0.7mm from Posca and its not a roller ball end so doesn't get clogged up by the waxiness of the pencils.

I used these pencils -
White, Cloud blue PC1023, PC904 - for white shading.
Fur - PC 1060, 1063, & 1065 which are  20% / 50% & 70% Cool grey .
I used Pink PC 929 & Blush pink PC 928 on his nose and ears.
For the grass I used various greens including PC 989 Chartreuse, PC913 Spring Green, PC912 Apple Green, PC 909 Grass Green.

Thanks for Hopping by!!
See you soon,

Tiddly Inks - Sloth Hugs

Here is my third and final entry into the Tiddly Inks 2:3 Challenge  and I had so much fun colouring this image. I have been wanting a long fur to colour for a while after seeing a tutorial by Annabel at Cartway Cards where she showed how to achieve this effect with Prismacolor pencils. And I have to say I am chuffed with how well he has turned out! The image is from Tiddly Inks called Sloth's life.

I used a Kraft card base and added a panel of Fauna paper from Doodlebug. I die cut the image panel with a My Favourite things scalloped stitched edge and tied some twine around the edge before using 3d foam to adhere it with some extra dimension. I coloured some little chipboard heart and the double Hugs word with promarkers. I also used some Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen on the word to give it some extra shimmer.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

ADU Feed the birds

There is a new challenge starting over at All Dressed Up and as always the theme is anything goes as long as it is using an All Dressed Up Image. Ive used Feed the Birds

Now I coloured this image up whilst I was on our little holiday in the glamping lodge- I was sitting by the log burner , colouring by virtually candle light and drinking red wine feeling all snug and autumnal. (I've added a few pics as its an indulgent memory for me!! ) Today - a month later and the weather is warmer at 18 degrees and I'm sitting in a t-shirt! What is going on!!??

I used Prismacolor pencils to colour the image and I die cut it with a spellbinders die. The edge of the patterned paper I did with a punch from Woodware. The paper is from My Favourite things and the background paper has wood grain effect and is from Bazzill basics. I added a wooden embellishment leaf and little bird and finally tied some twine in a bow and secured it with a matte enamel dot sprinkle from Doodlebug.

I tell you there are million worst places to colour! I would love to go back - reckon I could quite happily life a simple life!!

All for now - looking forward to seeing lots of enteries!!

Tango'd

Hello - Sorry Im a bit late posting this today... but there is a new challenge going live at The Paper Shelter today and the theme is Music and Dance. I have been waiting for a chance to colour up this fab image which is called Tango!

The background paper is from My Favourite things and the pad is Black & white basics. I used some red mirri card to cut some music notes from MFT note dies and also used black and gold mirri to die cut the skyline.
I added a chipboard greeting from Make it Crafty which I coloured with Ruby and Black promarkers and then covered with Spectrum noir clear sparkle pen for a bit of shimmer. Finally the whole image panel was mounted onto a gold mirri mat.
I coloured her with Prismacolor pencils and kept it very monotone - just adding a little glow from the light and a dot of Stickles on the light bulb.

Im pleased with how she turned out as I really wanted to get the sense of night time and being a bit sultry!!
Be great to see all your entries into the challenge and just look at the amazing prize!

Take a Hike

Morning - having a little break from Chirstmas... I saw these papers from American Crafts Creekside collection  and thought they were perfect for this image, which is called Faldaree Deirdery Dunderton from Dr Digi.
I love the autumn - especially the days that are dry but cold and crisp so last weekend we went to a local country park for a wander with the deer.

I used Prisma color pencils to colour the image and then cut around her. I mounted the paper panel on to mustard yellow and red Bazzill card and tied a little twine around the top. I added the bag charm to the twine before I glued it all in place.

Hope you like the card and get chance to get some fresh air this weekend.

The Paper Shelter - Autumn Beauty

Sorry Im a little late posting this card for The Paper Shelter, (Afternoon shifts always ruin my plans!!) The new challenge theme is Autumn colours - not nec a Autumn image though I have used this one called  Autumn Beauty.

I used prismacolours to colour the image and printed some digital papers from Whimsy stamps onto a textured gloss paper. I used a pebbles rub on and mounted the image onto co-ordinations core colour card which i sanded back slightly so the purple just begins to show through.

More Christmas with Dr Digi...

Morning - Its Sunday so it means its time for a new Dr Digi creation and today I have done another Christmas card using  Rescue Squad  http://www.doctor-digi.com/digital-stamp-christmas/digital-stamp-Rescue-Squad

I die cut the front of the kraft card to cut away the top corner using a  My Favourite things die called stitched wonky edge. I used the same die to cut a strip from Red paper and also a white panel that I attached the image onto. I used a glittery paper from My Minds Eye Comfort and Joy paper collection to cover the inside of the card so the top section shows through.

I used prismacolour pencils to colour the image for a change to Promarkers. And I think I definitely need more practice to perfect this medium. I attached the panel onto the base card with 3D foam and finally added a Hobbycraft kraft greeting.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Crafty Friends - Christmas in July
Crafty Hazelenuts Christmas - 3 of something - 3 layers & 3 die cuts.
4 Crafty Chicks - Masculine
Creative Knockouts - Furry Friends
