I needed a quick masculine birthday card for one of our administrators. I had the dotted paper sitting on top of my paper pile and already had Gus printed out so....I colored him up and put it together using the SSW2 layout. Then I hoped that I didn't offend him with the sentiment with the political times that we are in. He laughed when he received it.

Today at Catch the Bug there is a Stella Says Sketch and for my card I used one of the newer stamps called Stella I tried Christmas List.  I find this image so funny because I need to watch what I say many times too, lol. I used Sakura jelly glitter pen on the duct tape and then glossy accents on top.

Today at Catch the Bug it's New Release day and the image is Christmas Cupcake and the sentiment is from TLC, Create.  For this one I used a quilt die cut and did lots of playing to get all the pieces.  Then I have Flower Soft on the fur of the hat and Glossy Accents on the frosting.
This is 50% for the week so this a wonderful time to grab the image because the Christmas in July Celebration is coming up next week!

Advice from a flower

Tulips are my favorite spring flower.  Today there is a Friday Freebie at Catch the Bug, using this beautiful image of Bug Jar Tulip and I used a sentiment from TLC, Create.  I put Glossy Accents on the vase and outlined the images with Sakura jelly glitter pen.  I used lots of buttons for all the colors.

Imagine That Digistamp has Thursday Inspiration and here is the card that I made using the pre-colored image from the Pierrette stamp set.  I put Glossy Accent on the balloon.  I sprayed the flowers with Glimmer Mist and distressed the sentiment with ink.  I am trying to add some cards to my birthday stash.  I just love this stamp set since it comes with a bunch of wonderful sentiments.

Every thing sweet reminds me of you

I actually thought I better get ahead of the game and get my coloring done for the progressive challenge at Gerda Steiner.  This adorable pig is the image for the month called I love you more than chocolates - piggy.  I put some Glossy Accent on the area that I thought would be the silver foil wrapper on the candy bar.  The sentiment is from TLC.

Make your mind a parachute

I always like the saying, "When pigs fly", and here is a spin of that.  Gerda Steiner has this pig with a parachute as this months stamp.  I added Glossy Accents to the goggles.  I used a sentiment from TLC.  I made this as a simple card with no embellishments so I can easily mail it and not pay extra postage which is rare for me.

I just love the Stella Bugaboo stamps because she tells it as it is.  Here is the same sentiment from TLC  which I like the layout better.  Today is to have scallops, layers and bling.  I had to do a different color scheme since I have been doing so many purple colors lately so now I went olive, hunter green and burgundy.

I need to replenish my stash of cards so I made a birthday card using a sentiment from TLC.  It is a card that I also made for the Day 2 of the Birthday Bash at Bugaboo.  I added Glossy Accent to the balloon.  I think this is a perfect card for a child with the adorable monkey.

Always and forever

I can't believe it's been a week since I last posted. I feel bad that I haven't been leaving comments on people's blogs.  Having a "real" job helps to pay the bills and is a must, but it really does interfere with my fun and crafting time.  Today I wanted to spend much of the day catching up on the computer and making some cards, but then I had church, brunch with my sister-in-law who I haven't seen in quite some time, laundry,  run some errands and here I am when I should be heading off to bed posting a card.  Can't complain about it then I will have less time to post.  Bugaboo is having it's 6th birthday party and I did want to participate in some of the fun.  So here is my card for "Wild Thing You Make My Heart Sing".  The sentiment is from TLC.  The big heart has Glossy Accent on it.
