I'm sorry for being the crappiest blogger lately.  It's been a week since I've posted last, and I honestly have no excuse, other than the fact that I enjoyed a more relaxed posting schedule and I've been focusing on creating Youtube content (coming soon!) and prepping for my finals.  I sometimes get out of touch with blogging and forget how much I can enjoy it.  But I did some photo shoots this weekend and I remembered how much I love creating for this blog, and connecting with you guys.  So I'll try harder to stick to a good, regular posting schedule.  

This month I kind of flew off the handle with my spending- even though I have decluttered a few things from my closet and makeup collection, I filled it right back up with two shopping sprees at the mall.  But I'm not mad about it- this top and skirt from Brandy Melville are two of my newest additions.  I love this off the shoulder striped top (Theia from Brandy Melville) for summer, and I've been wearing it with everything from this skirt to my favorite pair of skinny jeans.  This skirt was featured in my last post, and I've still been wearing it on repeat.  Blush pink is such a versatile color and I really do consider it a neutral.  

As for the rest of the things that I hauled home from my shopping spree (and my birthday gifts), you'll be seeing them in some upcoming outfits and beauty posts.  It's all happening!  I'm going to have a busy few weeks, but in just a month, I'll be leaving for my summer college courses in New York, and I can't wait to snap a ton of pictures there as well.  

Spring Florals & Stripes

This coat.  Seriously, I let out a mini shriek when I spotted this in Avoca while I was in Dublin, Ireland.  It's probably the cutest raincoat I've ever seen, but it's super warm and doesn't even look like a raincoat with its lightly waxed outer shell.  I love pairing stripes and florals, so I added the coat over this otherwise simple outfit of a striped tee and chambray skirt.  And then because I can't resist adding more prints, I threw a polka-dot bag in there because why the heck not?

I do have something exciting in store- I'm currently making plans to start a beauty channel on Youtube!  I've gotten super into makeup lately and dabbled into makeup artistry, curating a makeup collection and trying out different techniques.  I also love watching beauty videos on Youtube and I wanted to start my own!  You can subscribe to see my coming videos at Julia Mazzucato.  I'm putting off filming until my life calms down a little- I have a major exam for my college course next week and I've been prepping all year.  Wish me luck!
