KinderStampO's 34 Birthday Balloons and Counting Blog Hop

Hello Everyone and welcome to KinderStampO's 34th Birthday Balloons and Counting Blog Hop! We have over 40 designs and projects for you to check out along the way! If you came from Linda's over at Krazy Quilling then you are in the right place. If not and you got lost some where along the way or just started at my blog then no worries the list can be found on Jess's blog!

I just had to make a birthday card that goes along with the outside weather we are having! Yes we are buried under some snow lol. So I used my Winter Frolic cart to cut the girl making a snow angel out at 4.5 inches. I used my Xyron to adhere the tiny pieces. To put the big pieces and the fur on the hat on I used Helmar 450. The face is a Peachy Keen Stamp from their Princess Face Assortment. The stamp on the outside is from My Pink Stamper her Everyday life set. The sentiment on the inside is printed from my computer. You all know I HAD to put her on an action wobble so it really looks like she is wiggling back and forth making that angel!

Now thank you guys SO much for stopping by and checking out my card! Love you all!

Your next stop is... OK who am I kidding... Yes I have blog candy!! I am giving one lucky winner some Action Wobbles!! Just comment here on this post, would love it if you became a follower, and I will pick a winner on Monday evening using Random.org!

Ok now for your next stop, Bit By the Cricut Bug.   She has something awesome in store for you!! Have a great day!

Peachy Happy Balloons!

Hey everyone!! I made some birthday cards the last couple of days to send to Chris Wooten over at Turned Gypsy for the Children's Hospital in my below post. I didn't measure anything and I am SO sorry! I mean I measured but didn't keep track as I knew I had to make htem and get them out!

I used Peachy Keen Retro Stamps, Fiskars Happy Birthday Stamps, Sweet Treats Cricut Cart (present), and Disney's Pooh Bear Cricut Cartridge (balloons). I "think" the present is cut at 3 inches and the balloons at 3.75. Like I said I didn't write this stuff down so DONT quote me on the sizes lol...

I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry, Helmar Acid Free Glue, and Helmar's Tape Runner (which by the way works AWESOME on embossed paper!!). All of these products are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!! If you papercraft you need this glue in your stash!! All the link's above for Helmar are all the same company I just wanted to give you their blog, facebook, and product page. I buy all of my Helmar product at Scrap-tastic.com

All in all I have 27 cards, 1 Santa puzzle and 4 Christmas tags to send to her tomorrow. Next round I plan on making A TON of the puzzles to send out as I think the kids will get a kick out of them! So if you have a super cute picture that you think will work well with the puzzle PLEASE be a dear and send me one! :)

Snow Cutie!

I was drug to Menards tonight by my husband after work. I really hadn't wanted to do anywhere but he insisted we go pick out the walls that we wanted in the scrap room so I felt I really needed to go. I got there before him so I walked around for a bit not really thinking I would find anything interesting at a hardware store. BOY was I WRONG! They have cricut cartridges!!! And they were on sale for $20 a piece! So you bet your booty I picked up a few of them! Ok Ok I had like 7 in my hands and put 4 of them back lol. I got Sweet Treats, Nursery Rhymes, and Graphically Speaking.
I got the Graphically speaking just in time for a challenge I wanted to do too! Over at M.A.G challenge by the page you get to only use the cricut for the cuts on a specific page they pick on a specific cart. This week it is from Graphically Speaking and page 56. I made the snowflakes on this page and cut them at size 2. Using Helmar's 450 glue I glued the two pieces together then used stickles in various places. Mostly diamond but also some Waterfall color. The snowflake on the left I wanted to stick out some so I used Helmar's scrap dots to make it pop off of the page. The one on the left is glued down with 450.
The rest of the cuts on this card are all by hand! No machine work involved! Ok so I can't cut a perfect circle and used my punches... The snowman is punched out and glued together with Helmar's Acid Free glue. I drew his arms on a brown piece of textured cardstock (on the back) and then cut them out. I attached them to the snowman with tiny white brads so his arms are movable! He has a "Snow Cuties" Peachy Keen Stamp for his face (stinkin cute!). He is adhered to the card with Helmar's White Zapdots 1/2 Square. (Helmar has some FANTASTIC adhesives and you really need to check them out HERE! Some stickles here and there and some ribbon from Michaels. I cut out some white paper to try to look like snow for the bottom and used a My Pink Stamper "Winter Punnies" stamp that says "Thanks Snow Much!"

I am entering this in M.A.G. Challenges by the page, The Crafty Pad, & Gingersnap Creations, Fantabulous Cricut Monday Challenge.
