Its the weekend... Also I hate to rub it in but I have Monday and Tuesday off work and I cannot wait. A long weekend to enjoy celebrating my sisters birthday, dog walking and nail painting! Perfection. I am totally in love with these nails! For those of you who dont know I am a pink fiend! Happy Fathers Day: England Football nails

Happy Sunday loves

Today is Fathers Day and my little sis and I are very excited to be spending quality time with our Dad. The three of us are going for a drink followed by lunch. Today my nails are football related for two reasons. The first being that unless you really are living in a cave you cannot fail to know that World Cup 2014 has just started, I am a huge football fan and get very swept up in the whole England craze. Secondly, football is mine and Dads thing. We talk about it, text about it, laugh and cry about it. Its our Dad/Daughter bond :).

Its time for fun Friday nails :-)

I am so excited about this weekend. Tomorrow us ladies are off to Newmarket Races for the day. We will place some small bets, enjoy the friendly competition, have a few drinks and enjoy being dressed up in our finery :-). Then in the evening we are staying to watch James Arthur live in concert before getting the train home. On Sunday we are going to Cooper's 1st birthday party and then spending some real quality time with Dad who has been through the mill a bit recently and needs some TLC.

That got me thinking that I very rarely wear yellow of any kind, I have no items of yellow clothing in my wardrobe, no items of yellow make up in my collection and yellow very rarely features on my nails. Right I thought, that must change...

It's time for a super fun Friday mani. I cannot get enough of these two colours together and who doesn't love a bow accent nail? I have so much planned for the next three days and I cannot wait, girly lunches, sister sleepovers, vampire diaries marathon catch up sessions, girly day out on Sunday and brunch on Monday. In between I need to find time to change my nails as often as possible ;-)

Have you all had a wonderful day? Mine was a little different to the way I had it planned out... In a nutshell I went for a dog walk this morning with my friend Debbie and then when we tried to get back into the house once we were done I realised I had lost my keys! Neither of us had our phones with us so after much searching and then banging on neighbours doors to borrow a phone my little sister arrived like a knight in shining armour and somehow found my keys in the middle of the field that we had already searched three times!

Phew! Time for my nails of the day...

Hope you all had fantastic weekends? Over too quickly as always but I have had a really good couple of days. Saturday I did the usual house stuff and then I went to my friend Jamie's to do my first childrens nail party! It was her daughter Casey's 9th birthday so I spent the afternoon painting seven lots of teeny tiny nails with lots of bright colours, plenty of glitter and even some funky french tips. It went really well and I had a lovely afternoon.

Today was Sister Sunday :-), so me and the little sis went into the city, shopped a little, ate a lot and then headed home for a dog walk and a Vampire Diaries DVD session. Bliss!

Ive got lots of lovely plans with my family this weekend and I cannot wait. Tonight I am going to colour my hair a nice bright raspberry pink as its currently an odd looking browny red which just isnt me, then Im going to apply some tan and sit back with a glass of wine and my feet up. Tomorrow is a busy day :-).

I have been looking forward to tonight all week :-). Its sister sleep over time! I am off to my sisters after work for a home cooked Beef Bourguignon (with extra red wine) and a whole night of DVD boxsets and chocolate :-). On Saturday morning we will make the most of this fantastic spring weather and go for a nice dog walk and then a spot of lunch in a local village pub. Bliss!

Another week flies by... Tonight I am planning a date night with Mr LiPP. I am going to cook us a nice three course meal (to be fair I will likely cheat and buy the dessert) and treat us to a bottle of something bubbly to get the weekend underway. We have some decorating that needs to be finished and as we are busy for the next four weekends its a bit of a now or never situation. It will be worth it in the end :-)

How are you all doing? I am pleased to be on the road to recovery, I just need to shift this pesky cough and I will be fully fit just in time for our holiday! Yes thats right, Mr and Mrs LiPP as well as 10 friends will be off to Bansko Bulgaria on Saturday and we cannot wait! Dont get me wrong, personally I'm not one for hours spent in the cold attempting to balance on skis but I am most certainly one for group holidays with friends and loved ones. Days spent chilled out in the hot tub or shopping and enjoying a glass or two of bubbly. Evenings spent with all of us eating together, leisurely walks to the pub and plenty of drinking games!

These beautiful nails are actually from a few weeks ago but they are too pretty for me to not squeeze them into my blog line up. I kept this look quite simple as I was wearing a very patterned dress and I have to admit they did end up complimenting my outfit very nicely :-)
